No phone and my cell as dead without a charger. I had to get the head office to call a cab, after 1.5 hours of buzzing them. They said they wouldn’t ( not could t) let me use their charger so it was 80.00 in cab fees and 23 for a charger. Absolutely horrible
This is a motel in a quiet residential area that backs up to a ball field.
The room was quite small and clean. There was a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.
There was shampoo and a bar of soap for bath amenities. We were told the water is potable but it smelled and tasted terrible.
We could hear our neighbors talking and moving things around but not late at night.
It was good enough for a one-night stay.
The checkin and general interaction with the staff was friendly and helpful. That, and the quiet location along the Lake of Two Mountains are the only highlights. We had an “economy” room for one night - the bed was uncomfortable, the room was small with no hooks for clothing or towels, and the toilet was small and tight.
Worst of all, this was very poor value for money. A motel of this type should have been far cheaper than the approx. CAD 160 per night.

Lovely setting. The motel was just ok. Beds were soft. Odd assortment of pots and pans in the kitchenette (but no stove to use them!). Coffee maker, but no coffee - was given pre-sweetened instant at the front desk.

Staff was very nice. The room was clean, but the decor leaves something to be desired. The shower faucet needs repairs. All in all, it's okay if you need to rest on the road.

This was a last minute booking the staff was very friendly but the room was dingy, the shower had no water pressure, there was a mirror on the ceiling above one of the beds (super weird) the box spring cover on the other bed was stained. The bathroom tiles were kinda gross and need a good scrub. The people staying next to us dropped a glass jar when they were bringing their stuff in and it smashed on the ground, that glass was still there in the morning. Had to be very careful when taking our dog out. Outside seating area was nice.

We stayed in comfort room - comparing the price they charged - the room was pretty small.!! We thought we will be getting a queen bed instead we got a double bed room.
Though the area and location of the motel was good.
We liked the location and access to restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The room was cramped. The curtains did not provide adequate privacy. The tub faucet handle was confusing. The tub could use a grab bar to assist getting in and out.
