Bathroom water pressure and temp was terrible. No extra pillows. TVs mounted in a weird way and too small and clearly 10+ years old.

Very disappointing experience. When I checked in, I was given a room that had not been cleaned at all. On top of that, the staff was unsure and asked me to wait at the reception while they “double-checked” whether the room was cleaned or not. This is not professional and not acceptable for a hotel. Basic standards like cleanliness and proper room preparation were clearly not met. I would not recommend staying here. No compensation, nothing.

We stayed there for 3 nights, there was no room service which was fine but we asked for fresh towels twice, they told us they would send some up but nothing ever came. Coffee maker didn’t work. When we left we forgot our fire stick, I called the hotel immediately about it to come pick it up and no one has returned my call which is fine it’s only a fire stick, but I looked and someone has been using it so one of the staff must have taken it

The room was clean. The amenities were satisfactory. We were surprised and slightly disappointed, that in room 1016 there were 3 mirrors in the bathroom (including in the shower; but not ONE mirror in the bedroom. It made getting dressing and ready for dinner when we could not use a mirror in the bedroom for hair or makeup.

The room was partly stocked with glasses and coffee. Biggest improvement would be for the bar and restaurant to open when it is advertised. 2 nights of our stay we sat around waiting for the bar/restaurant to open but never did and front desk had no idea.

The space itself was pretty nice and clean and comfortable and close to everything. However the fridge barely works (I was changed to 3 different rooms and it was the same in all of them), they’re not cold enough to keep food safe. The heating is set to only 20 degrees Celsius, and you have to ask for maintenance to increase the heating through a control panel in their control center, if you’re cold because it can’t be don’t from the room. Thee is a little pub restaurant downstairs where there are always events and parties. You can hear every word of the music up until the 5th floor of the hotel so not good if you’re trying to sleep.

Where do i begin! The rooms are okay if not odd shaped and the bed was tiny even though they said standard queen (yeah standard only in Canada). Otherwise room was fine besides the cleaning which was so annoying. Room cleaning they ask do you want it cleaned everyday and we said yes (reception asked) as weather was snowy and ice storm and we were out and about all day in that weather so we looked forward to nice clean warm room when we returned each day. NOPE both days we were given excuses why it was not done and both times reception said we did ask to have room cleaned (Please the weather was brutal and our snow shoes were dripping everywhere...why would I not request it and when I showed that we had sign out every morning for cleaning we were told they were short staffed and then it was a mistake and so and so on. We sat in reception day one for nearly two hours (entry to room 4.45pm) while we waited for room to be cleaned and 2nd day 45 minutes (5.15pm) Room still dirty and no toilet paper Said Manager would contact us and take care of this and of course he never did even though requested twice at reception ...Very busy guy must be! And worse was the breakfast what a rubbish breakfast...three little chaffing dishes with scrambled egg/sausage and dry old potato ...no juice / yogurts warm and not on ice ..only thing nice was croissent . $23 or so they charge ...nuts...maybe venting to much but this is not first class service and there are better places for brunch all around

So bad and good. Upon arrival at 3:45 in the afternoon - check in at 3:00 we were told the room wasn't ready, ExecutiveSuite. In fact told it would be 40 mins...ok we will wait, at least 2hrs later, as we had gone out for dinner and NO phone call, room was eventuality ready. Valet parking is expensive AND once you comit you are NOT allowed to use your vehicle during your stay - I found that odd, check your mileage as my radio was switched to a French station - why?? There are no stir stucks in the rooms and I had to use my eye glasses in a pinch. Because we had booked a 2nd night ahead separately from original booking in preparation of a winter storm, check-in and check-out times were not in our favor, the management did provide another room to use as a transitional option from room to room. However the delay and lack of communication was present and, only with our investigation were we aware of when the 2nd room was ready. They are lacking communication with one another and full of excuses and deflection rather than take ownership - total incompetence. Over hearing multiple and I mean multiple complaints over and over of many issues and same excuses we will not return - shame as rooms are ok.
