My husband and I were traveling and needed an over night place to stay. We had a king size bed, clean sheets. Clean room. Variety of food for continental breakfast. Some remodeling going on. Good value. Would stay again.
A nice oasis in a tough neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised at my refurbished room. It was clean, comfortable and everything I could have asked for during my overnight business trip, including refrigerator and microwave. WiFi signal was strong. Even though the neighborhood's a little rough this property is a little isolated and I felt perfectly safe. The check in was easy and the staff was nice and helpful. The Super 8 brand continues to improve and surprise.
Arrived late because of horrible traffic and was greeted with a smiling face who was very helpful. Was perfect for our brief overnight stop.
We were drinking through AL and decided to spend the night in Montgomery. I have had a poor experience at a Super 8 Hotel in the past but we decided to give it a try in Montgomery. I read reviews on TripAdvisor and thought they were good...I agree they have done a fair amount of remodeling and the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was hot and good except the juice dispenser was out of juice choices except for cranberry. The hotel ice machine did not work. The staff was very nice. Thank you for a pleasant night stay. I will be looking more favorably on Super 8 Hotels from now on!!
I prepaid for my room in advance for a lower rate and I thought that it was on the nicer upper east side of town. When I got there they said I had no reservation so I long into my account and the nonrefundable room that I paid for was on the Crackville southwest side of town. So as I drove back down I told myself "I don't need to expect much and stay this one time. When I got there I notice that a lot of building in the area had been demolished and there were no street rats running around. The outside appearance looked far better than the other motel. Check in was a breeze, the room was quite and clean suite with great security. Breakfast was good, all of this is not what I was expecting. I will stay there again next month also
We were told it had been renovated but I our had some parts that still old, the overall stay was good. Great location, would stay at this location again.
This hotel has just been renovated. Very clean. Friendly manager and staff. Easy access to the interstate.
In a nutshell, a pleasant stay for two days. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and reasonably priced in my opinion. Those seeking newest and glitziest might be disappointed but I found the facility to be professionally run and maintained with courteous staff always available. The provided breakfast was simple but filling and offered a bit of variety for a variety of palates. The 2008/09 crash destroyed a few other motels in the area and they remain empty as testament to the fact that all has not returned to the "good old days". The Super 8 has continued possibly because they get the basics right. I would return again for sure.
Stopped for the night on my way home from Florida. Octavious at the front desk was smiling and helpful finding us a dinner place and grocery store. Rooms were clean and have been upgraded with new beds. They were very comfortable. Firm yet almost a pillow top. Bathroom clean. Breakfast included. Make your own waffles, toast and bagels, pastry, cold cereal, milk, yogurt, oatmeal, juice, coffee and hot tea, oranges. Thank you Simon for a great conversation this morning and sharing. Have fun with your grand kids!! Will stay here again if in the area.
I stayed here for five days. During this time The hotel was not that busy. They do have a pool that is clean but old. The parking area was nice and open with lots of parking spots. Lots of side door accesses so you don't have to walk the whole length of the hotel to get to your car. Breakfast was both hot and plentiful. The rooms were old, but they were very clean. The windows in the rooms do have some water damage but in this economy, I don't blame them for not haveing replaced them yet. The staff was both friendly and attentive. My only disappointment in this hotel is they do not have any way for a guest to do laundry.
