Castel Bigozzi

Perfect location...perfect accomodations

We rented a car and drove to the surrounding Tuscany region towns. The location was great, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the staff very helpful. Overall, the nest stay we have had in a long time!!!!!

Borgo Del Cabreo

Intimate Tuscan Getaway

If I could give this hotel more stars I would. They didn't just meet our expectations, they completely surpassed them. We stayed in La Villa, which is essentially a loft large enough for a couple to live in. It is beautiful and very, very spacious. The property itself is breathtaking. There are vineyards, olive tree and tuscan hills as far as you can see in each direction. We honestly did not want to leave the property. We were also in the middle of an Italian road trip seeing Milan, Cinque Terre, Florence, Venice... but this place made my husband & I want to stay in tuscany the entire time. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful. You will feel part of the family when you stay. The breakfast isn't just a boxed croissant and coffee. They have a large spread of fresh fruit, freshly made quiches and tarts (some made of eggs, some dessert quiches also), fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, various breads, croissants with filling, freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, along with a precious lady that can make a coffee, espresso, cappuccino or whatever you choose. (This sweet lady's mother also makes the breakfast items fresh everyday.) The pool is stunning. They have a shaded area if you would like to stay out of the sun while you gaze at the pool and tuscan hillside. The staff is incredibly helpful also. They scheduled our dinners, gave us directions and an emergency contact number if we needed anything during their off hours. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Albergo Casalta

Hidden treasure

We arrived during low season and since it was our anniversary, we were upgraded to the "suite", very beautiful and warmly decorated. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant downstairs. The little village was tiny, old and truly unique. This was a warm and very quaint hotel!
