Stayed here for 1 night in October. Rooms were spacious with fun amenities. Fabulous breakfast. Walking distance to the historic section of Sienna ( a few blocks). Staff was very helpful and always smiling ! There is parking if needed.
This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel. Although it was only for one evening as a stopover before going on for the olive harvest. I had to come back, what amazed me is the staff remembered me. The general manager friendly, helpful and down to earth, the ladies at reception also helped me greatly. The barman also great, with the happy hour bites and beautiful view on the terrace overlooking the city of Siena. The hotel gives you a feeling of a big family, my room was cute with everything I need, also the breakfast was good, with more then enough to choose from. I hope to come back again next year. Keep up the good work!
Hotel Italia is well located and has a great price compared to other places in Siena. The staff were very helpful and attentive, and the room was clean and comfortable. There was also a decent breakfast offering compared to a lot of similar hotels in Italy.
My wife and I stayed 3 nights with a PrePaid Economy Reservation. After arriving on the noon train from Firenze, we rode the series of escalators up the steep hill, climbing the 3 that were not operating. At the top, we walked 50 meters NW to this hotel. An English speaking clerk copied our passports while another presented a map with extensive directions concerning our interests, then our room key to an upgraded remodeled room. We took the elevator up to the 4th floor to our adequately sized #470. It had a comfortable queen with 2 nightstands, desk unit with refer and chair, large wall TV(no English-repaired our last night by technician -now CNN/BBC), large double wardrobe, and a beautiful marble tiled fully outfitted bathroom with glass shower The large insulated window with latticed shutters opened to city view including the 1270 Antiporto di Camollia, but let in some of the road noise. We enjoyed secure wifi, a very helpful staff, and a complete serviced 7AM breakfast buffet of all foods. Located 40 meters from the Viale Cavour bus stop(handy La piccola osteria da Santino) and 200 meters from the Conad City Supermarket, this hotel seemed a good value choice for us.
20 min walk from city center and very close to the train station. Clean and tidy hotel with good breakfast nice people works here you will feel home. Some rooms are located next to building walls so avoid them if you want to see sky
Such a lovely room. Wonderful decor. Overall the hotel is very nicely decorated and provides good service. Just walking distance frim train station (elevator in the mall to be taken to reach close to the hitel) and the old town is very close. Hotel breakfast was very lavish and had huge variety of mouth watering cakes etc.
This hotel is excellent!!! It is very close to the train station as well as the old city of Siena! The room was excellent with very beautiful setup! All of the employees are extremely polite and professional and we are definitely going back there!!! We would like to thank Franceska at the reception as well as the rest of the people there for our beautiful stay!! Also, the breakfast is great and the kitchen staff very polite and accomodating!!! Our best regards Stelios & Inna!
This hotel is located very near the train station. It is about 15 minutes walk the Piazza del Campo and Duomo. You can reach the main drag--Via Camollia in a 5-minute walk. We stayed in a large room with two big windows on the 4th floor. The bathroom was quite adequate with a nice shower. The desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The really know the city. The hotel serves a very nice breakfast in the morning. We would clearly stay here again.
We visited for 5 days in Siena and had the best service from the Hotel Italia staff! They made our trip even more special from booking to check out we felt like family here! Can't wait to visit again! Thank you Guilia, Francesca, Davide, and Yannica. We appreciate the service! - Ricardo and Diana Rodriguez
Situated at 10 to 15 minutes walk from Porta Camollia, the entrance to the famous old center of Siena, this hotel is modern, painted white and decorated with photographs of movie stars of the 50s and 60s. The room we had was nice and bright, opening on a large terrace (there is a daily fee for a room with balcony). Breakfast was a feast, an outlandish buffet including many vegan options. It also offers a full vegan breakfast on demand. (N.B. Most people won't care but I asked why was the radio on during breakfast as a low background noise. For ambiance, I was told embarrassingly. I suggested that silence was a nice and beautiful start of the day or maybe, if music was necessary for some, a selection of very subdued Italian classical music, for "cultura" especially in a hotel of "questa qualita". They thanked me very politely.) Service at the front desk and at breakfast (grazie mille, Daniela) was cheerful at all times and particularly courteous and helpful. They helped us warmly with any requests for vegan options and any information we needed about Siena and public transportation. Marvellous staff.
