It's a beautiful location and close to businesses and wine-tasting in Carmel Valley. The property is nice but the buildings and rooms need work. Our room (#10) was pretty dirty, especially the patio.
we liked everything location was great nothing we didnt like
Wonderful location in Carmel Valley Village. Grounds are beautiful, as are the views. If you like midcentury modern, this is the place for you, though it could use some TLC.
Kind of hotel you expect horror movies to be filmed in. Half curious if there were drugs or cash stored/hidden in the vent. While all that would make for an “interesting “ stay, what was unforgivable/unforgettable and regrettable was the smell. Carpet was DISGUSTING, the room hadn’t been touched since first built in the 50s, and the grounds had nothing to offer.
Located within a 5-minute walk of Bernardus Winery Tasting Room, Blue Sky Lodge is within a 15-minute stroll of Boekenoogen Winery Tasting Room. This 15-room hotel has free in-room WiFi, free self parking, and a spa tub.
Blue Sky Lodge's 15 rooms are heated and provide balconies or patios, coffee makers, and portable fans. Flat-screen TVs come with cable channels, and guests can stay connected with free WiFi. Beds sport premium bedding and bathrooms offer free toiletries. Phones and ironing boards are other standard amenities. Housekeeping is available once per stay.
Guests of Blue Sky Lodge enjoy a spa tub, free WiFi in public areas, and a seasonal outdoor pool. If you drive, put free parking to good use.
