Mountain Memories is a quiet retreat on .5 acres surrounded by the Tennessee trees and wildlife. Our cabin is very comfortable for large groups and/or families packed w/amenities for all ages.

Peaceful solitude in the woods

Took our entire family including our 2 y/o granddaughter for a week to enjoy Monteagle, Sewanee and the surrounding area. Loved all the different spaces to gather in from the large eat-in kitchen to the living room, sunroom, and back porches. Views of the trees were complimented on a sunny day or enhanced during summer rain storms where the sound of the metal roof provided soothing comfort for an afternoon nap or a great sleep at the end of the day after hiking. The property owner communicated well and gave timely support and guidance on a couple of small questions. Everything was labeled and well-stocked. Lots of fun areas for our grandchild and great spaces for each of us to find quiet time after three or four days together with family. Great gaming areas were provided for family time and the Roku televisions allowed for us to review photos from the day and enjoy some of our favorite shows and videos. We saw several deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and frogs. The hot tub was great and clean. A great place to unplug and we hope to return again in the future.
