Amanda's Bequest Bed & Breakfast

Super B&B

The breakfast meals were truly amazing. It is a farm fresh feast that always tantalized the taste buds, and left you satisfied well into the afternoon. The day was ended with a nice glass of wine at the back porch gazebo, as the pond water babbled and the chickens let out a soft cluck.

Rodeway Inn

Overall, it was good

Staff was very cooperative and helpful; room was nice and clean; easy access from parking lot and from the lobby to the room. We were put into a room equipped for handicapped people; it didn't matter to us, but I hope we didn't keep someone else out of the room who needed it more than us. The only negative was that the coffee maker in the room didn't work properly; only half of the water passed through from the unit to the coffee pot.

Holiday Inn Muskegon-Harbor

Nice hotel by the lake

The stay was overall pretty decent. The front desk worker was a little rude and looked overall annoyed that he had to be helping with guest issues. The elevator was temporarily having an issue where we couldn't get the door to shut so we could go up. When we asked the front desk clerk he took a deep breath and made a phone call to maintenance. When we apologized to him he just rolled his eyes and put an ear bud in like we were inconveniencing him. The overall cleanliness of the room upon arrival was decent. There was hairspray and hair stuck to the table where all the outlets were and there was old bar soap stuck in the shower. The window in the room whistled so loud with the wind making it almost next to impossible to sleep through the night.
