It's close to Michigan Adventures, amd it offers rooms that accommodate our sleeping needs!
Nice and clean, but for the price was too high, hot tub not working, blow dryer in room didn’t work either, had to get toilet paper from front desk
We liked everyone on the staff. They were cheery and helpful. The housekeeping department was understaffed, a common problem now throughout the industry. We liked having breakfast available until 10 AM, coffee available all day plus access to the fridge for yogurt, boiled eggs and snack items. We will stay here whenever we return to Whitehall!
The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place is a tad outdated. Our room had a very strong mildew odor and the breakfast provided was lacking.
Friendly staff to interact with. Have us a list of places to eat or have food delivered.
The property is a little worn around the edges but it had great access to US 31, & there was a Walmart across the street for quick shopping trips. The few staff members I encountered during my stay were super friendly & kind. I would stay there again.
The staff was very friendly checking in/out and at breakfast in the morning. The hotel however smelled quite odd, which lingered into the room. The bed sheets on one of the two beds in the room were stained, and hair had been left on the bathroom floor.
Very friendly staff, very clean, just needs some updates to hotel. Pool was outdated and somewhat unclean. Needs a good scrubbing.
I had an overall great experience here. I needed a place to stay before my flight back home, got a room with a super comfy king bed, T.V., microwave, and fridge. Clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed two nights (7/22, 7/23) with the wife and two kids, and we had to use the public restrooms downstairs the entire time because the toilet in our room couldn't flush anything down. We reported the problem to management as we left in the a.m. 7/23 and returned later to find the toilet plunged but still not functioning. Asked to speak to the manager at check out on 7/24 and the girl behind the desk said the manager was busy and offered to credit us $15 per night for the inconvenience. (We paid $151/night.) Gave the girl our room number and waited another 30 minutes but never heard from the manager so we just left. Arrived home to find a $15 credit on my card for one night only. Pathetic.
First night our room had sewage issues and horrible smell. Next morning they moved us and put us in a different room. Second room was great.
Definitely a solid hotel for its location in a small town. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are kept very clean, and the complimentary breakfast offering is quite generous compared to the sparse "continental" breakfast that you get at most basic hotels.
The Comfort Inn in Whitehall, MI is an excellent place to stay. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The room smelled musty, but seemed clean. It had most everything you would need for an over night stay. Rather noisy at night...and it didn't seem like the staff did anything about it.
We originally plan on going to Double JJ resort, but it was too expensive for staying at that place. So, we decided to stay at Comfort Inn instead. It was not too far from Double JJ, but not much to do around the hotel in Winter. I was afraid when I read all the reviews before I went there. However, I was impressed with friendliness of all staff. Breakfast was not too bad at all. Overall, I may go back in Summer when there are more outdoor activities to do.
