Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle Downtown/Convention Center

"Hotel was very crowded for World Cup and Pride. Nearly impossible to get breakfast due to long lines and out of stock products. Very noisy in common areas. Design of window shades is clunky and you can hear others raising/lowering their blinds in other rooms which can wake you up out of a deep sleep. Kitchenette is a nice touch and we appreciated not having to use plastic ware. Staff seemed overwhelmed by occupancy volume. We asked the front desk for extra pillows three separate times over two days before finally receiving them. The TV and stand seem too large for the room and gets in the way. Shower on/off handle on opposite side from shower head which is nice but not having a shower door is not nice and leads to water getting all over the floor. Check in/out experience was great. Room service stopped by and when we said no to cleaning they still offered extra towels which was appreciated"
