So, I stayed here over the weekend and it was among my least favorite places I ever stayed. It is located next to the freeway and the noise was so loud that I couldn't turn the TV up loud enough to eliminate the noise. Second the bed was terrible, I sank about 6inches into the bed when I laid down. The fire alarm was beeping when I walked in and it took about half an hour to turn it off. The deluxe breakfast was a danish and orange juice, nothing else. Not impressed at all. And the first person I spoke with barely looked at me when I walked in. Every hotel within a ten block radius was about 20$ less per night.
Hotel need improvement. We just sleep we were out working all day, so it was good for the price.
Not a bad motel. Staff never smiled or acted like they were happy to see you, but the room was clean, nice bed. Rooms on freeway side extremely loud (freeway, railroad). Okay for what it was.

The room was clean, but the place kind of creeped me out in general. The man who checked me in was polite but pretty cold. The hotel is in kind of an industrial area, removed from the main drag. The remote location made me a little nervous traveling alone as a woman, especially staying on the first floor. The bed was rock hard, and the room was in need of repair, especially in the bathroom. I was so nervous that I couldn't get any sleep, and I ended up leaving shortly after midnight and getting back on the road. I guess you get what you pay for. It's a clean place to stop for the night, sleep, and shower.

The staff were friendly and tried to please. The continental breakfast was okay, but the juice machine was out of order with no attempt to provide juice. The room was clean and well-equipped -- coffeemaker, microwave, refrigerator, working TV and DVD player. I'd stay again if I had to. A definite minus: It's right on Hwy 99 and the traffic is pretty loud even at 3-4 in the morning. I was surprised that a Howard Johnson's wasn't one of those newer express hotels. But I don't really mind old motels because parking right in front of the room is always convenient. Oh: good Internet WiFi.
I felt that it was a nice place to stay. The room was clean and everything in it worked fine. The staff is couritous and the continental breakfast was good. It is very close to the freeway. I could hear it from inside my room. It did not bother me, but you may want to ask for a room in the back if that would bother you. There is a Denny's nearby as well as other places to eat. I would stay there again.
