everything booking in the room. bugs in the room. scary people around I had to leave
I booked the hotel for 2 nights based on price. I was there for about 20 minutes total before I checked back out. The room says non smoking but it had that smoking smell as soon as I opened the door. I let it pass and as I was brining my stuff back and forth inside a guy kept passing my room. As soon as I got all my things in the room not 5 minutes had passed and that same guy walked past again and stopped and peered inside my room. Also for some reason had one of those rooms that were accessible from the next room. After he stopped and looked in again that was it for me. I didn't feel safe at all. When I went to turn in my room key that same guy was sitting in the lobby talking to the person at the front desk like he worked there or something. Bad area it didn't feel safe from the start.
I went to the motel they did not have my reservation from orbits. Front desk tells me i paid way to much through orbits. I was walked up to room. Glass window had a huge crack, the drapes looked filthy. The blankets were supposed to be white looked yellow. Carpets were filthy, bathroom had nats flying around and the room just stunk bad. I did not stay the night there was no way I was sleeping in that filth. Also they did not have a key for the room told me to let them know if I leave and they'll let me back in. They also had a security guard because they said the rooms get broken into often. Horrible experience then I had to call orbits to get my money back from a woman who didn't seem like she knew what she was doing.
Located in a very sketchy area, loud, littered with homeless, did not feel safe at all. The amenities were laughable, apparently the toilet paper, remote batteries, anything not locked down gets taken from the rooms from the homeless people/loiters. THere was NOTHING In the room except a bed (which was relatively clean). I wouldn't recommend. Spend a few more dollars.
