Nice place with pool and spa just the right temperatures for a 102F day. The room air conditioner worked well and wasn't too noisy. Very comfortable 2-day stay. The complimentary breakfast service was managed very efficiently and warmly despite the tour bus crowds. Very nice garden and lawn area between the buildings was a nice place to enjoy breakfast.
We were checked in and out by very friendly front-desk agents and felt welcome. The facility is in good shape and the room was clean and nicely decorated. We'd stay there anytime again.
We were unfortunately given the room right next to the maids closet. Right after check-in was when they were putting up for the day... with carts, slamming doors & talking for a good 30 minutes. The same thing happened at 7 in the morning before we were even able to wake up, except add in that the carts continued to ram into the air conditioner unit. I wish that the staff was more understanding of the patrons of the hotel. The room was comfortable & was good for the price.
Beetles everywhere in our room. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room overall was tiny.
My husband was very pleased with his room and the location of the hotel. His sister and niece live in town and he got to visit with them also. He has now stayed one week a month for the last three months. He looks forward to continuing this relationship for many months to come.
Stayed at this hotel for a last minute business trip where I just needed something cheap and clean. Hotel was close enough to downtown Modesto that I could reach everything quickly in my car - not really a great location for walking. Motel style, recently been upgraded. Room was nice and clean. White comforter and bedding (the only thing I require when I stay at a hotel or motel)
I was pleasantly surprised by this Best Western! It was conveniently located right off the highway. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had as it included made to order waffles, hot scrambled eggs which were not overcooked (as most restaurants serve) and the links were very tasty. I have a newer car so was a bit concerned about its' safety however, it was secure and untouched in the parking lot overnight. If I were to search out a complaint, I'd say the mattress could have been upgraded. Other than that, it was the perfect getaway motel.
This hotel met most of my expectations. Only stayed one night so the small room size wasn't too uncomfortable. Any longer of a stay, this room is just too small.
Loved the room ,hated the view, too much freeway noise, breakfast was terrible. First day no eggs, no fruit ,no pastries, no English muffins. Second day no eggs again, sausage and potatoes. Stayed at Best Western in Rome last year and their buffet puts this one to shame. I can only imagine what visitors from foreign countries think about our hospitality. Need to step it up, eggs aren't that expensive.
The hotel was clean and pleasant. Be sure to get a room in the courtyard and toward the back to avoid the very loud traffic noise from Hwy 99. We had two refrigerators during our stay; neither worked. No fresh fruit available on our last day there. The staff are very nice and accommodating.
There are nicer hotels out there but this was okay. It had a cool lobby with wifi and coffee. The rooms were kinda small but I guess for that price its best we can do.
This hotel is clean and well landscaped. The pool is nice and the full breakfast was very good. The fitness room is very small but it worked since no one was in there . You can hear the highway noise from outside but not from your room. Good price for a good hotel.
Quick, courteous check-in--lovely courtyard and nice outdoor pool. This is an older property which has been renovated--rooms are attractive but small with tiny, dingy bathrooms/separate sink area. Big flat-screen TV; fairly comfy bed which needed an extra blanket or duvet. WIFI worked well for us. Breakfast is good in newly decorated space with unlit fireplace on a very cool morning. Friendly, efficient attendant. Ask for a second (top) floor room facing the courtyard, if you can do stairs. No elevator.
The room was kinda small but perfect for our one night stay.
JUST ABOUT EVERY EMPLOYEE OF THIS HOTEL THAT I'VE COME INTO CONTACT WITH HAS BEEN VERY RUDE.
The room was awsome. With coffee but not enough towels and pillows were not too comfy
Only possible complaint is that the bed was a bit on the firm side, but I like that. Flat screen TV, new fixtures (remodeled in the last year or three,) Nice hotel rooms that actually live up to the photos on the website. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast, pretty standard for a Best Western. Overall, I'll definitely be staying here again!
Staff excellent, breakfast good, bed comfortable, shower hot, room clean
The room with 2 queen beds was nice.. the only issue with the stay was check in time at the hotel, the room wasn't ready by 3:00 so we had to wait and desk clerk seemed frustrated when you would ask questions. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was decent. Several restaurants, coffee shops and the mall was nearby. There's also a Chuck E Cheese and John's Incredible Pizza nearby for kids to be entertained. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!
