It’s a busy community during peak travel times but the home was well maintained, had most everything we needed and they were very accommodating. It was a 3 minute golf cart drive to the beach, walked there and back several times with ease.

30th Class Reunion

We absolutely LOVED a this property as it was very clean with close beach access.. My housemates enjoyed the golf cart around the beach. However, the lack of parking for an “event” property made things difficult for our guests as well as not being able to use the golf cart at dark to pick/dropoff guest at parking places. Otherwise, a great property that I would stay again.

Love Rentals Miramar Beach FL

Property itself is great however not as close to the beach as had been advertised. Amenities are great, beds are comfortable, awesome bunk beds for the kids, great eating area. Golf cart was great to use for going to the beach and local restaurants. Three separate floors allow for bedroom privacy. Common pool is small, recommend more dishwasher detergent and laundry soap. Highly recommended and would rent again.

Short walk to beach

We stayed at the Shearwater Chateau the month of February. Photos are accurate of house and area. I used one room as home office, and had no issues working remotely. House is very spacious, and about a ten- minute walk to beach, which is beyond words :). Pompano Joes and Pascalli's is a must! Close to shopping, and other area attractions.

Wonderful Family Home

Really enjoyed our stay everyone had a fantastic time location was excellent overall everything thing was great the only suggestion we would make is that the floors get a deep clean it was obvious by our socks and the bottoms of our feet that the floors are not appropriately cleaned between guests and the couches also need to be cleaned. Otherwise we would recommend staying here.

Great stay

The place was immaculate and very close to the beach. Having a golf cart was amazing. Made getting around easier. If I could provide some recommendations. A little more dish washing products and laundry washing products would be a nice touch. Just having enough for one load makes sense if you’re staying one day but for many days it doesn’t. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay!

The house was very nice. Clean and in a good location to beach, food and attractions. The golf cart was a great plus as well as beach chairs that were provided. The few negatives were the sheets and towels that were provided. They were both very thin and not good quality at all. I was also charged an additional small fee from what was quoted online. Overall, it was a great stay. Thank you!

Spring Break 2023

We rented this home for our spring break vacation and it was amazing. The property and location are perfect from the beach. The golf cart was very accommodating to take down to the beach and parking was plentiful. We didn’t have to drive our cars unless we wanted to venture out on the highway. Every floor came equipped with baths and towels. Beautifully decorated. Love rentals were amazing and always there if we had any questions. I would rent this home again. I can’t say how happy I was with everything.

Immaculate House & great amenities

The Shearwater Chateau was cleaner than any house we’ve ever visited! For my crew, that’s critical about decor & cleanliness, it sets the tone for the entire stay. Simple decor reflects the Bright natural light permeating the entire house. Bring a sleep mask if you don’t want the light to wake you. There are smart TVs in every bedroom, lots of towels, but best of all was the well stocked kitchen. All the dishes, pots, & pans you’d need if u plan on cooking. The golf cart to the beach front is easy & fantastic! Miramar Beach has gorgeous water. We’d definitely do it again!

Great location. Only blocks from beach access. Three stories was nice for a large family. Very clean. Wash/dryer on both first and third floors was great since we stayed for 10 days.

Family Vacation

The house was very nice only lacking in seating in living space. Also couches were not very comfortable. The house was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. Loved the golf cart! The walk to the beach was much further than expected and would have been a disaster with young children.

Spacious, clean, & serene!

We just loved this property. It was spacious, clean, and serene! We truly felt at home there. Plenty of room for us all to spread out and be comfortable, or to gather in the kitchen and living areas. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and their closet was so big it was like an extra play space! The sun filtered into the bedrooms for perfect lazy mornings. The downstairs entryway was a great drop zone for all our beach gear, and made it easy to load up the golf cart as well. It was amazing having a 6-seater golf cart! Perfect for going down to the beach or shops. We loved being so close to the Pompano Joe’s beach access (with restrooms!!) and to Alvin’s Island, the ice cream shop, coffee shop, etc. Best of all, the sand and the water at Miramar was beyond gorgeous. And having a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood made the whole trip come together. We can’t wait to visit again!!

Overpriced and underwhelming

We felt very disconnected as a group with the weird layout and it's not well stocked. We did have the basics but everything seemed very cheap. Including the bedding which didn't feel very clean. They have a pool on site but it's very small and a bit far and they have no pool floats or toys and will fine you if you leave yours for the next guests to use even though they have ample storage for such items. We never did see the cornhole area that they advertise. There is a golf cart which is nice but with our group of 7 we still had to drive one of our cars as well as the golf cart to go to the beach. They do not have private beach access so you have to use public parking and with 2 vehicles we had a hard time finding spaces. Overall we felt that this property was very over priced for the quality and amenities that are offered.

AMAZING property

The house was great, however we were slightly disappointed with the pool. The size was very small and the water was too hot to enjoy. The parking for the beach was terrible and there was no private beach access. Consider a gated parking lot. All in all we enjoyed the stay. Thank you! .
