It's gone and they did not even inform guests that they were closing. Found a better place anyway won't miss it.

We booked this because of it's proximity of downtown and for the features of the hotel. (Bar/rooftop access) Bar had oil leaking and ruined my husband's $150 jeans...drinks were awful and over priced. Bartender was incompetent. Breakfast was limited and we were told to only eat minimal because it would not be refilled and to go to a restaurant down the road and pay. We paid to have a Continental breakfast. Not for one apple. Roof access elevator was not working so we couldn't even use this listed amenity. Parking cost more than listed and had paint leaking on our cars all night. Way over priced for the lack of cleanliness, updates and so called amenities. One of our rooms had no ac and they never came to fix. Disappointing experience!!

Great bargain of a hotel for Summerfest! You can walk less than a mile to the festival grounds. The staff at Park East are all extremely friendly and the location was convenient to the lake and parks. Free deluxe continental breakfast including waffles, cheese omelettes and sausage as well as the usual cereals and pastries. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator and all the updated amenities even though the hotel is a bit older than most. They are also pet friendly which is a plus (special pet floor). Only major drawback was the parking – it's $15 extra and sometimes pretty tight in the parking garage. Be sure to check out the views from up on the roof of the lake and downtown. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Within walking distance of Summerfest but parking is a serious problem. Hotel ran out of parking. Two off the three of us received parking tickets on the street although we had followed the signs then been told we should have had an overnight parking permit, which was posted nowhere. Front desk people are great except one night man who was really mean and crabby. He was horrible to us.

Considering the price, everything was perfect. Superfast check-in, friendly staff, quiet environment, clean lake view room, comfortable bed; air conditioner, refrigerator and microwave in good working order.

The Hotel is within walking distance to just about everything. Short walk to the art museum and lake. 3/4 mile to the arena's downtown and river walk. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area and especially closer to the river. The restaurant in the hotel has good reviews and what looked to be a very nice bar. We didn't partake in either nor did we go up to the rooftop patio. The room was clean and comfortable. Not a lot of extra space but plenty of room for you stuff and includes a desk, free wifi and a sitting chair in addition to the desk chair. The bathroom was recently remodeled which is a nice plus. Breakfast is solid and free. We were very pleased with this hotel. Amazing value.

Excellent value from Orbitz for a centrally located comfortable, quiet, older hotel. $15/night for a mostly empty parking option, though common, is a bit too costly. Friendly staff, clean room, and an easy drive to most Milwaukee attractions.

Very basic not worth the money They could source up the hotel and better breakfasts

Friendly staff and a huge room. Great pillows.i would stay hear again

Great location near the lake. The room is dated, especially the bathroom. Could use a little TLC in areas. The smoke detector in our room sounded 3 loud beeps during the night. I mentioned it at the desk on the way out and was told Oh, it must be the battery, we will check into that. Not even a casual, I'm sorry about that.

Nice location, very quaint and clean. Great price compared to others we looked at. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Nice hotel close to beach museums And park And Great cafeteria by the marina. B

They chrg $15 4 prking. did not see that when booked. Got in late. Front desk female very nice. Said would not change 4prkng. They did anyway. Seperate charge. Male AM front desk does not want to b there. Ripped shirt, rude and impatient with customer on phine who was asking questions. Should know what events are happening in city instead of rudely saying "I don't know, there must be a fest that weekend". That made an impression on me and then to b charge the parking when told I wouldn't b. Going to b spend more time on future in Milwaukee. Looking at other hotels In future.

The staff wasn't very friendly. The rooms were old and they had tiny pillows on the bed. The location was ok.
