Oak Park Bliss has so much going for it. What a great location for our first visit to Milwaukee! We could even walk to a Brewers game! The property was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated and well-stocked with amenities. We would definitely stay here again! It really was a gem!

The home was very clean, nicely decorated and updated! We were very comfortable. Our only suggestion would be to have a nice outside area to sit. The weather was beautiful but no outdoor seating.

This is a clean, secure, and convenient place to stay in a safe little cutout neighborhood. The property was easy to access and is in the perfect spot to use as a jumping off point for all your Milwaukee adventures! It is close to the highway but never loud enough to interrupt your experience. Great communication from the host and access to tons of TV options. Beautiful kitchen and clean, brand new appliances including the perfect little ice machine in the freezer! Our only suggestion is to add a curtain or blinds to the front door for privacy at night and while away.

Outstanding communication from the initial booking request to the day of departure. The kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of bathroom linens. And the house is so nicely decorated and very comfortable. But most importantly, the neighborhood is very quiet, while being conveniently located to so many fun things to experience and great restaurants to enjoy. If we ever find ourselves back in the Milwaukee area, we would definitely stay at this house again!

Felt like a spa!

The house was newly renovated and was comfortable and cozy. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay and was very clean and smelled like a spa when we walked in. The neighborhood was quiet and close to lots of places to eat!

Excellent!

CLEAN! (Immaculate!) CUTE! (Old home charm with modern interior.) COOL! (Summertime Milwaukee temps had me— a visitor from a cooler climate — worried, but the home’s A/C made even the spacious upstairs master bedroom cool enough for this gal to sleep! Phew!) And what a WELL-APPOINTED KITCHEN! (Any implement I needed to feed my crew— there it was!) The owner was FAST to reply to my messages. We highly recommend this rental.

Home Away from Home

We had a great experience at Johnson Woods and highly recommend it to others who are seeking a safe neighborhood with a close proximity to downtown. The property was very clean and had all the essential amenities as well as some really nice "extras." We especially enjoyed the filtered water and ice machine. I had a question about the dishwasher, and the property owner was immediately available to troubleshoot. If you are traveling with a dog, the neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks and grass and the house has a great backyard. We will stay here again!

Fantastic location. Clean and comfortable.

The location is great. Nice walk to the ballpark. Seemed like anywhere we wanted to go was just a 5-10 minute drive. Safe, nice neighborhood.The house was very clean and comfortable. This was the ideal place for us for going to Brewers games and doing some things in the city.

Spring Break with Family

We left Milwaukee in 2009. Our family roots remain strong in Milwaukee and Racine. The house was located centrally and provided just enough space to accommodate visits from family and friends. It is the cutest bungalow! The property is clean, well-appointed with cooking utensils and updated appliances. I will be reserving for future visits!

We enjoyed our stay

Lovely home for a short family trip. Furniture was confortable, 2 walk in showers were very appreciated, lots of towels, well stocked kitchen accessories. One TV remote did not work - would be a good idea to have extra AAA and AA batteries on hand. Also one more blanket - the fixed thermostate at 69 degrees was a bit too cold for us and there were 2 extra bankets but 3 beds. Snowed twice while we were there and snow removal was done right away - we were pleasantly surprised. Thank you to the team running this rental.

Overall experience staying there was great. We met some great neighbors, good communication, clean and easy access. Having 2 bathrooms was big plus for us. Only thing was upstairs room. It’s a great private separate room with own bathroom. It just has a very narrow steep stairs that were little scary for older folks/ over 50 with bad back and knees. We highly recommend this place and would come back again when we come back to see our daughter at her school

Enjoyed our stay at Oak Park Bliss

Oak Park Bliss was bliss! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The host responded quickly when we had questions. We were able to walk to the Brewers game and could get to all the places we wanted to see in 15 minutes or less. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are steep so just keep in mind depending on who stays up there but it’s a beautiful bedroom and bathroom upstairs!

Great spot for Brewers games

Two friends and I stayed here for a couple of nights to go to the Toronto vs Brewers games. 20 minute walk to the stadium down Hank Aaron State Trail. Felt super safe the entire time, including walking back in the dark. House was exactly as advertised. Very clean, had everything we needed. Short Uber downtown if you don't want to drive. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Milwaukee.

Amazing stay

Very comfortable stay with my wife, mother and our one year old daughter. The entire home was very clean and functional. Easy check in and out process and a centrally convenient location to lots of restaurants and other things we were wanting to do while in town. Would recommend and stay again if we are ever back in town.
