Hilton Milwaukee City Center

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Great location. Older room but nice. Affordable. $25 to park per night. Would stay here again.

Staying at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center was an exciting experience. It looks like you are in a grand old era, and sometimes sounds like you are in the Jazz Age with the background music. But the facilities are all modern and clean and inviting. The breakfast Cafe and Pub/Grill serve food at reasonable prices. The service from all personnel was friendly and quick -- including the Housekeeping, who, when you leave the Do Not Disturb sign out, call late in the day to see if you need anything. The location is very accessible to the downtown area (walking distance) and has numerous bus routes nearby. We loved our stay here!!!

$25.00 a night for parking garage a bit high i thought. But a very nice Hotel

Nice clean rooms. Wish they had queen beds. Loved the shuttle to the Brewer game.

First, Orbitz made it easy to get a room at a good price. The Hotel staff at the desk were young, but very accommodating. My room was very clean. I'll be back!

Hotel was nice. Bed was uncomfortable. 5 Star lobby, 2 star room

Large room with king bed. Friendly staff. Convenient parking.

Stayed Thurs through Sunday. Location was excellent- short walk to Harley museum, local distillery, Mo's Steakhouse, Moe's Tavern and an assortment of bars and restaurants. Recommend Build-a-Breakfast around the corner. Shuttle is provided by the hotel to and from Miller Park which is less than ten minutes. Two bars/lounges in the hotel. Short cab or Uber to the Downtown nightlife. Approximate 30 min walk to the Lakefront Brewery along the river. Building was clean rooms, were clean, housekeeping was fast and efficient. Plenty of clean towels. Hotel did not appear to be in a rough section of town. Staff was polite and accommodating. Doorman seemed a little lost when we asked about places to go but the bar staff in the hotel made up for it. No more than a 20 min cab to airport. Not a bad comment to give this hotel or experience. Solid 4.5 star rating. Its what you should expect when you stay in a hotel.

We checked in late after attending an event nearby. When we arrived the Host was polite and helpful and the hotel was grand and lovely, sort of in the fifties deco style. We the room service but thought there should be a bit more offered. Next time we will have to try the milwaukee Chop house and the Miller time pub.

It was ok, the service in the restaurant area not good it all

Stayed at the Hilton City Center for a night and had a pretty good first experience there. Overall, the location is perfect for anything you want to do in the downtown Milwaukee area. Not a terrible walk over to riverwalk and Third Ward for bars/restaurants. If it wasn't for Orbucks I probably wouldn't have booked at the price it was at (350+ for a Saturday night) so seems like the place would be a little steep - who knows, could have just been everything going on in/around Milwaukee that weekend. Would consider this place again if the prices were reasonable (without Orbucks).

The hotel is nice, but a bit dated. My wife and I came for a concert at the Rivercenter and it was very easy to walk to the venue. The late night bar was great. Self parking was a bit expensive.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, and perfect location!

The Hilton is right on the bus route for Summerfest and other festivals on the lakefront. The bar in the hotel is a great amenity as well.

The staff was wonderful. The summerfest bus line was right outside and affordable. Great experience. We will be booking it next time me go to summerfest.

Peeling woodwork, window that would't close completely, burn mark in curtain, air conditioning not effective, Sunday Brunch items were not at a proper temperature, just not a very well maintained property.

Hotel was beautiful, staff was very attentive to our needs. Tons of parking for a price charged right to your room. Only thing that's was wrong with our stay was the temperature of our room it was incredibly HOT tried adjusting thermostat did not work. The Millertime pub had a great atmosphere, also the cafe for breakfast was delicious could have a larger selection for the price we paid. We will be booking with the hilton again in June .

The only complaint I have with this hotel, is that the room was not the same as the picture. We stayed in a junior suite, and the one in the picture shows a fridge & microwave. There were none in the room. Everything else was as described.

Great hotel, great staff. Recommended. Great access to Summerfest.

The room was a little small but that was okay because we did not spend much time there. The location to 3rd ward and old world 3rd st was excellent. Would not think twice aboout staying there again with all the good stuff close by.
