The hotel is a bit old. However, it is at very convenient location. Almost all major sites are within 20 minutes walking distance.
A nice hotel in a good location, breakfast was a great treat!
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel after reading some not too good reviews. We were upgraded to a very big room on the top floor with jacuzzi in the bathroom, a couch and a king size bed. I wasn't very impressed with the breakfast, it seems that they don't have enough staff and they were very busy trying to make coffee for all the guests. The hotel is walking distance from metro station and walking distance from the Duomo and even La Scala. There are coffee places nearby. Don't expect 4 star luxury but it was a good deal for the price I got it at this downtown location.
Very close to the fashion square and other important sights
Rooms are a bit dated but the size makes up for it a bit. Tiny Tv, shower head is in middle of shower/tub and not at the end so its really funny trying to take a shower and not touch the shower curtain which is impossible. Mini fridge does not work well. The value comes from very friendly staff, included full breakfast and good location. My main tip is two, request a room not facing the street but back side. The street is cobblestone and the train and cars are really noisy driving on it. The great thing is there is double windows, and by bed a button to open and close metal shutters that help with noise too, but being on back side would be even better I assume.
All in all a good stay. Very helpful staff. Would stay again
The front desk staff varied from helpful to not-very-friendly - but even the coolest warmed up a bit by the day we left. The cleaning staff were friendly but a bit haphazard (we had to ask for more soap when needed, bath mats were hit and miss). The breakfast room staff were also hit or miss: sometimes there was an available place setting, sometimes not - but they were generally friendly and helpful. There is a step up from the lobby to the elevators and the ground-floor rest room. There is a step down from the lobby to the dining (breakfast) room. Two of the 3 elevators are teeny tiny (too small for one to enter while sitting in a wheelchair); the third can accommodate a passenger sitting in a wheelchair but not much else. There is no elevator to the breakfast area. The staff gave us a choice of rooms. One, way up at the top, had a tiny garret-type window (skylight) rather than a regular window. The other, which we chose, had a nice window and a big bathtub - but only intermittent air conditioning. A repair person came two days after we complained and made it slightly better. The bed was very comfortable (actually two twin mattresses on a large base). There were lots of students and families staying there, but we didn't hear any noise from other rooms.
It's a great location and the hotel is old but it is nice. There's extra charge to park in the garage and extra charge for breakfast. The price I paid only got me the room.
I booked late, but found this hotel which was perfect for us...Room was large and comfortable with free Wi-Fi and inexpensive parking. Shower had a minor issue and TVs are small, but I fixed shower issue and we did not watch TV at all. I was driving so covered parking in their basement for 20 euros per day close to the center of all in Milan was perfect.
This is a fabulous hotel......great location and wonderful breakfast buffet......great staff!!!!!
We stayed in the family suite for 4 that included a small kitchen with cooking utensils, refrig; large living area with table and chairs, 2 brms and shared large bathroom. Beautifully furnished, elegant but comfortable. Well located for walking to sights. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean.
Very good area just outside the center of Milan. Walkable to anywhere in city and not too far from the 2 canals which have great restaurants and nightlife. We took advantage of Milan's bike sharing which made it quick to get to and from hotel from anywhere in city. There was bike rack less than blocks away. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was average, not the cleanest or nicest but suited our needs. Big pluses for hotel: Free wifi throughout hotel, very convenient Free whiskey in the lobby! The best included breakfast I had out of 7 different hotels i visited in Italy/France.
Good location and nice breakfast! I would recommend this hotel.
A competently managed property in a very good location, 10 minutes from the center of Milan by foot. A few decent restaurants nearby, endless shopping opportunities in what is a world fashion capital. Comfortable rooms, clean and more than adequate for business or leisure travelers. A decent breakfast included with pleasant wait staff. Decent service overall. Good WIFI service in rooms.
The service was excellent and the location very good. The rooms are older but very sufficient and definitely met all our needs. We were very satisfied with our choice.
