We were able to get a room without a reservation late in the afternoon. The room was basic but comfortable. Bathroom was small, but there was counter space near the sink. Breakfast offerings were minimal- cold cereal, waffles, milk, coffee, etc.
Great inviroment. My kids loved the pool and beds were verry nice. They wers super helpful and i had no problem getting in. I booked with choice.... But i always review with trip advisor.. Hopefully i cant some extras this month
Would not acept cash for room rentals..creating hardships for traveling families...stay away from this death trap your better off giving the business to cash based establishments.I never been so insulted by racist people in this establishment of business.
We called ahead of arrival and was quoted 59.99. When we arrived 10 minutes later it was 10.00 higher. Tried arguing with the price and was told it was the higher price and that it was very cold outside. Reluctantly took the room because not much else was available. Room was horrible! Door didn't fit and the wind blew in all night. Sink was propped up with boards. Plumbing didn't work properly. Ceiling had been replaced and only covered part of the old one. Floor was patched at best. Would not recommend this place to anyone!
We stayed in this motel because the motels in the are where either full or had raised their prices due to a large number of construction workers coming through. The motel had a large patch of gravel in the front, and definitely needed renovating. Fortunately, there were signs all over apologizing for the mess. They are working on it. Our room was reasonable for the area and situation, but higher than what we normally would pay. Our room was as clean as it could be, but was older and had no carpet. The bedding was older, and the room needed some maintenance, but we had a decent stay. When checking out, we saw some of the rooms that had been completed, and they were very nice. There was a Mexican restaurant connected to the motel, but we wanted Italian, and the receptionist recommended Louigis, about 5 minutes away - it was exceptional. The motel was right off the highway and easy to find and get to. There are a lot of other motels and stores nearby. It is a decent neighborhood that feels safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Front desk was nice and the room seemed to be upgraded. The property needed some fixing but overall decent for the price. I guess you need to ask for a newer room to get one of the upgraded rooms. The breakfast wasn't all that great. They only had cereal and a waffle machine.
This hotel is in the midst of a redo . The concrete is cracking, the water is extremely hard, the pillows are flat, the tv had a picture tube, I had never even heard of the microwave brand , there was a door adjoning our room to the next so we could hear everything they said and shouted. The vanity had not been cleaned and the tap and faucets were crusted with dirt and hard water stains
My husband had been staying there for work several weeks. The rooms were alright. They had an updated room with wood floors which was nicer than the nasty carpet in the other room we got to stay in with the kids one night. We heard men fighting and beer bottles being thrown all night long. Mind you this was on a Thursday night where people have to be at work at 5 am the next morning. Then the cable went out im assuming this was due to the mean causing all the noises because the cable man was working the next morning right above where we were staying. I told the man I wanted my money back for the next night because we were going else where and he was rude saying you are going to get that anywhere around here and i didn't hear anything. So Im just hearing things? I WAS WIDE AWAKE. The rooms on the back where other guys from our company where staying where trahsed out. The curtains were sheets, the outlets weren't covered. The lamp cord was cut and broke. Its like if its trash just remove it before someone comes into the room next. Pretty sure I saw several drug deals go on.
NASTY.RUDE.COST TO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU GET. My Rate went up $30 in 24 hours and I promise you nobody came and upgraded that hotel within that 24 hours. It's not worth it. They gave my room away for a $10 more a night To the next sucker. Which left me with a nowhere to stay. HORRIBLE People at the front desk.DONT stay there do yourself a favor.
... but the worst motel in Midland isn't any more in disrepair than this one. I roll in late, almost 2:30 a.m. And oh I want to hit the pillow. Not do fast, Buckwheat. The room's AC is not working. %#€@ !!!!!! So I go back to the office, tell him 221s AC is on the fritz. He puts me in another room. Fine. I traipse back to 224, and the key doesn't work. Back to the office again. This time the clerk follows me to the room to let me in. I'm let in, the AC works and I thank him and he's on his way. Grrrrr. I find that the frig doesn't work. Really?? The shower, never updated since 1973, is abused, battered and could be a scene from Animal House. Something positive you say? Well ok, the sheets appeared to be clean. Does that make you happy? I said something nice! Grrrrr. Sleep in your car. Go to a chain and pay $40 more, anything, just don't patronize this hovel of a motel. They need to sell it to someone that will invest about $100k in it an bring it up to American standards. What a dump.
