The hotel is too much regarding his facilities. Not recommended at all

Don’t listen to the reviews that say this hotel is bad. It’s a very good place to stay. And I saved hundreds.

it’s a beachfront hotel, close to south beach and downtown.

Staff was very friendly and kind - but slow service. Room was cold. Comforter and pillow were cheap - shower curtain was moldy.

it used to be a beautiful hotel, however, it now needs repairs and updates and a new renewal coat.

I've come to this hotel to attend a yearly conference for the past six years. The staff has greatly deteriorated. Examples: At arrival, I'm pulling my heavy luggage up the stairs as staff keep watching. I reach the top of the stairs and a staff asks if I need help. I said too late. A man collapsed, hit his head and passed out in the elevator. Despite frantically hitting the elevator's emergency call button, no one ever answered or showed up. Fortunately, the man seemed fine after waking up from his epileptic seizure. I stored my luggage with the bellboy. It returned with a broken handle. There are other events but I just want to forget about this place.

The hotel was average. OK for the Orbitz Price. Management needs to invest in renovations as soon as possible. The lobby is very glitzy and palatial. The rooms are very dated. Stripped paint, cricked bathroom door, etc. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The room was clean, however, I had to kill a roach in my room. I told the front desk personnel. They were very apologetic. If you stay there, you have to pay the extra dollars for the Ocean view/Beachfront. We overlooked the pool and ocean and it was simply amazing. The only thing missing was a balcony. The location was cool. There is no continental breakfast. The pool area was very nice. I must admit the bed was quite comfortable. We slept well. MBRS was OK for the price paid, but, pay a few dollars more and stay in one of the more up to date hotels with a balcony.

We spent nice time with good weather. The location is very good if you want to relax on the beach. It is not a luxury hotel, but you can find all kind of services and amenities you may need for relaxing. Some of the services can be improved, especially in the restaurants, fitness and SPA. The shopping and sightseeing area in Miami Beach is not very close - at about 6-7 miles. You can reach this area via public transport or taxi. Bus and shuttle stop is exactly in front of the hotel, but traveling to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Rd. Mall takes at least about 40-50min.

Room was disgusting. Very dirty. Stains on walls and carpet. Windows were very dirty. Would not stay here again

Quality is way below price they ask. Also, the food at breakfast place was really bad.

It was ok. The lobby was absolutely beautiful, but after that, the facility was just ok. The elevators took absolutely forever, and I mean like 15-20 minute waits. There was a kids karate tournament there and that may have been why, but all of the guests were complaining about it. My major complaint is that the hotel did not provide beach chairs at the beach!! I've actually never been to a beach front hotel that didn't. You had to pay $12.50($10 plus tax) per chair! This might be ok if there wasn't a resort fee....but you pay a resort fee here. For this alone, I would never go back here. I do have to say that the housekeeping staff was pretty awesome. They were really good. The location of the hotel is about 3 miles from South Beach, but Miami has free trolley service to Lincoln Road, so that helps. There is not much within a mile of the hotel as far as restaurants or convenience or grocery stores go. The beach itself just out back of the hotel was nice though. We just brought our towels and sat on them, as did most guests. The pool was nice, but small, and as I said, the karate tournament was going on, so the week I went it was mostly filled with kids....

Upon check in to our room we found some dirty sneakers from the guest before, asked for a fridge and one was delivered with small roach stains inside. Was moved to another room (which the bell guy did not even ask to help us move, just handed us the keys). The “Suite” had paint chipping off the window frames, curtains looked old and nothing even matched. Pool area is in need of some serious pressure washing. Room needs some upgrading. Will never recommend this place. You’re better off at a Motel 8. Way overpriced for what you get.

I found out about the sauna on the way out (I’m in my feelings about that) everything else way nice but the room decor was a blast from the past (1960). No patio other then that I had a great time

Upon arrival there was a kid karate convention staying at the hotel. The old 1970s style hotel only had 3 of 4 working elevators that were taking people up instead of down which took 15 plus minutes to take us to the 10th floor when you have to stop at every floor and have adult elevator. Restaurant menu normal but very loud people screaming made it hard To hear yourself talk.

The hotel was well located, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Close to restaurants and easy access to transportation. The staff were very nice and friendly. However, It needs renovation, the carpet in the room was dirty. There was a hear pin on the floor the day we arrived and it was there for 6 days. It is a sign that it is never vaccunned. The bathroom had mold in the shower. That was a disappointment.

Upon my check in, my toilet was dirty, there were hairs in my sheets, and the A/C wasn't working. The staff was prompt to remedy these issues although the A/C took some time to cool the room. The cleaning lady on the floor was rude. The location of my room produced beautiful views and the hotel is right on the beach. There's a free trolley right in front of the hotel. The operator was very accommodating in referring places to eat.

Very nice, love Miami , very good service , windows need to be clean

Vacationing on budget this hotel fits the bill. Not upscale. Beach area average.

Hotel is nice, staff very accommodating. Management should complete renovations, update rooms to include newer TVs, they still have old tube TVs. Menu limited. Only 2 elevators were working during my stay and the hotel was booked to capacity.

Enjoyed our 6 night stay here only downside was the construction that woke us up every morning at 9:00am and the water in our room was either too hot or too cold. Room service was ok. Breakfast was $24 and it was ok. Room deposit is $50 per night which is VERY pricey compared to other hotels.
