The hotel was well located, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Close to restaurants and easy access to transportation. The staff were very nice and friendly. However, It needs renovation, the carpet in the room was dirty. There was a hear pin on the floor the day we arrived and it was there for 6 days. It is a sign that it is never vaccunned. The bathroom had mold in the shower. That was a disappointment.

Upon my check in, my toilet was dirty, there were hairs in my sheets, and the A/C wasn't working. The staff was prompt to remedy these issues although the A/C took some time to cool the room. The cleaning lady on the floor was rude. The location of my room produced beautiful views and the hotel is right on the beach. There's a free trolley right in front of the hotel. The operator was very accommodating in referring places to eat.

Very nice, love Miami , very good service , windows need to be clean

Vacationing on budget this hotel fits the bill. Not upscale. Beach area average.

Hotel is nice, staff very accommodating. Management should complete renovations, update rooms to include newer TVs, they still have old tube TVs. Menu limited. Only 2 elevators were working during my stay and the hotel was booked to capacity.

Enjoyed our 6 night stay here only downside was the construction that woke us up every morning at 9:00am and the water in our room was either too hot or too cold. Room service was ok. Breakfast was $24 and it was ok. Room deposit is $50 per night which is VERY pricey compared to other hotels.

I was given incorrect information about the hotel. Nothing could be done to resolve issue. This was our 1st year wedding anniversay. My husband and I expected so much more. There was so much construction left undone. The look made it kinda unpleasant. I fell the bathtub while showering. The bottom of the tub is not non slip nor does it have anything to help you from slipping. I reported it to the front desk. Nothing happened to make me feel any better. I guess the best thing about the hotel was getting the wake up call on the day we checked out. This wake call was prompt and on point. And they evening gave 'another call to make sure we were awake.

The first room one that they put me in was too many problems with the lights with the outlets with the WiFi the bed was hard the mattress the bathtub was clogged took them two days to fix it then they switch me to another room the other room had a problem with the cord for the phone the coffeemaker wasn't working they had to come and bring me another one and the people above my room or making noise at night really late and I couldn't sleep. I had to go upstairs and complain to the people that was up there because they didn't do nothing about it.

The rooms were clean but it feels like you are back in the 80's. The check in and out was fast. The only concern I have is that only one out of 4 elevadors works and the certificate has expaired since 2015.

The hotel is located in a good area but would of been nice not having construction going on so early in the morning and no swimming pool available.

The staff was wonderful. But the hotel deffinetly shows it age. The pool was closed during my stay due to construction. Tried out gym and all dumbells were missing their pair, only pair complete was a 55lbs set. Vending machines were also out of service, big deal since room did not have a refrigerator in it, wifi very spotty. Travel for business and was trying to get on some beach time.

Close to beach.. it's was a good hotel for being there for the first time.

Friendly staff nice ballroom parking is way 2 expensive

This is a good hotel for the money you pay. Its in a great location, middle beach, close to other stores. Every time i go to MB, i stay there because of its location and pricing. I liked the breakfast they serve there and wanted to say thank you to the great staff: Oneida, Michelle, Renato and Aracely etc. for their pleasant service. Thank you all.

As soon as you get in the hotel, you get overwhelmed with a strong smell that really bothered me!! Valet parking is $32 a night!! No refrigerator in rooms. Stains in the carpet, old fixtures, housekeeping employees ASK for tips instead of earning it and when I complained about it I was told by Javier this is normal in Miami, really?? Pool was stinky! Tips added to your bill automatically in their beach bar. The only good thing it was close to the beach. Didnt feel safe at night with all the noise and some drunk people trying to get in my room! Didnt feel safe leaving my belonging in the safe!! Overheard housekeeping cursing at people in spanish cuz they didnt leave tips! Saw police on a couple of occasions on few floors! STAY AWAY!

We had a great time and the hotel was wonderful. The consierge was a great.

I liked that the hotel is not in the middle of the daily noise of Lincoln Mall or Ocean Dr.

This is an old hotel, built 60 years ago, and next to nothing has been done to modernize this hotel. The lobby has an old charm to it, but the hotel rooms are antiquated, and more akin to a room at Super 8 Motel. The pools and pool area also show their age and the view from our room it didn't look like a pool I would want to get into. Beyond the high price of everything, which is typical for Miami beach, valet parking was modest, and valet staff was always courteous and professional.

Good place for short stay before cruise. Walked on beach. Enjoyed view. More closets than needed

The hotel needs an complete upgrade. The rooms are big but the paint is peeling. The carpet is old but clean. Hotel staff was very friendly & the view & pool area was great.
