As soon as you get in the hotel, you get overwhelmed with a strong smell that really bothered me!! Valet parking is $32 a night!! No refrigerator in rooms. Stains in the carpet, old fixtures, housekeeping employees ASK for tips instead of earning it and when I complained about it I was told by Javier this is normal in Miami, really?? Pool was stinky! Tips added to your bill automatically in their beach bar. The only good thing it was close to the beach. Didnt feel safe at night with all the noise and some drunk people trying to get in my room! Didnt feel safe leaving my belonging in the safe!! Overheard housekeeping cursing at people in spanish cuz they didnt leave tips! Saw police on a couple of occasions on few floors! STAY AWAY!

We had a great time and the hotel was wonderful. The consierge was a great.

I liked that the hotel is not in the middle of the daily noise of Lincoln Mall or Ocean Dr.

This is an old hotel, built 60 years ago, and next to nothing has been done to modernize this hotel. The lobby has an old charm to it, but the hotel rooms are antiquated, and more akin to a room at Super 8 Motel. The pools and pool area also show their age and the view from our room it didn't look like a pool I would want to get into. Beyond the high price of everything, which is typical for Miami beach, valet parking was modest, and valet staff was always courteous and professional.

Good place for short stay before cruise. Walked on beach. Enjoyed view. More closets than needed

The hotel needs an complete upgrade. The rooms are big but the paint is peeling. The carpet is old but clean. Hotel staff was very friendly & the view & pool area was great.

This hotel has taken full advantage of their location on the beach, with an ocean-side pool and restaurant. More affordable than South Beach but just as beautiful! Our room was spacious and classic. Not new, but well-maintained. Comfortable and soft bed.

I really liked that it was next to the beach....the breakfast was excellent!! First time being too Miami, the only thing i could say was wrong was that we didn't stay enough days to do everything

Staff was wonderful and very professional. The rooms highly need to be updated. The tv was very old and it was in standard definition. First of all, it is 2017 and for all the money we paid per night (3) and for the resort fee, tv's should at least be in HD. We couldn't even see half the letters on the tv. Meaning words were cut off. Not good at all. We came for my son and I birthday, traveled from Boston, (first-time travelers) the pool was great it was the old fashioned rooms that made me give your hotel a very low score. Kinda made us feel like we were in a time warp. We have stayed in many hotels but this is by far the worst hotel my family has stayed at. We didn't take pictures inside the hotel room due to disappointment in look/design of room. Again all staff was very professional and courteous. I would love to visit again but not unless the rooms get upgraded. Sorry, Unsatisfied birthday girl/son

This hotel is very outdated and over priced! My room was poorly cleaned. The furniture was damaged before arrival. Chipping paint all over the bathroom ceiling and the toilet seat looked as if it hadn't been changed in years . Everything had to be requested and request were limited ( 1 towel for the day at the pool, no refrigerator in the room unless requested, limited blankets ... And the list goes on ) The hotel doesn't offer room service or any special features. The gym equipment was totally outdated. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone . The only nice thing about this hotel was the staff . Everyone was very polite and apologized for hotel conditions. My recommendation to the building owner would be invest more into this property! It is not worth $200 a night !!

Staff was great friendly and helpful. Building is older but you can see it was the premier hotel in Miami beach at one point. This history from when it was the Dural is cool. Check out the 18th floor. Best view and awesome room

Good experience great staff, expensive to park on site, need updating on mattresses.

Loved the hotel location although I thought it was closer to Ocean Drive. We had a rental so it was easy getting around. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, right on the beach. It is not the updated place, actually, very old, but I didn't care for that. We got the room facing the beach and the view was breathtaking!!! If you are looking for a luxurious trendy hotel, that is not the place to stay...

The 1st room had no working TV and no refrigerator. The second room had TV and refrigerator but was not clean. The pool was disgusting. Their restaurant had a terrible menu. No selection at all.

The rooms very old and need updating. The toilet was like a squatty potty. It was only 1-2 feet tall. We're short so I can only imagine a tall person using it. Very nice staff.

Restaurant not too clean. wifi signal at room was terrible, not working at all, from 5 days it worked only 1.5 days. Noisy, I was at 9 floor and could hear cars driving by.

After a major travel snafu my husband and I were in search of a last-minute hotel in Miami that would get us on the beach without breaking the bank. The hotel is not fresh or hip but the room was enormous, the bed was comfortable, and the view was divine. The service from staff was uneven and a lot of things weren't available while we were there, but I would stay again.

Not worth the price....old place. After I left the place....they charged me an extra $45....

It was a good experience just a couple of things were upsetting. Shower temperature would turn really hot or really cold. The shower tub was clogged. Lastly they had a refrigerator with no access to the snack and juice and old school tube TV that would static.
