We enjoyed our stay at the MB Hotel. Being right on the beach and right on the walking/bike path was so convenient. All of the staff were professional, genuine, kind, and helpful during our stay. The buffet breakfast on the fifth floor was nice with a beautiful view of the ocean.

the pool and beach access were amazing, and the restaurant was beautiful too. The rooms were just ok, a little outdated. we did end up requesting a room switch because ours was extremely damp and smelled.

I only gave it two stars so you know I’m not giving them 1 star for the hell of it. This is a poor choice for hotel in this part of town unless you are just looking for something basic and budget. Maybe cause it’s on the beach they think they can slack on quality. The place has a dirty vibe to the rooms. Strong smell of mold in the hallways. The bed linens seem very used even though they may be washed they had yellow stains and felt Not crisp. If you’re looking for a clean feeling hotel where you’re not afraid to touch things then go somewhere else this is not it. Also to make matters works I got the room with a balcony which was on the road and not only hella noisy from all the traffic but had these intense blue led lights on the balcony that don’t shut off. The room curtains sucked and didn’t block out light so the whole room is lit up blue when trying to sleep. Which is the absolute worst color of light to be exposed to before bed. It worked for me for a night in a pinch but it would suck to stay here for a week if you’re planning a trip. Definitely look else where.

The beach chairs and umbrella are the highlight of staying here. The pool was lovely, especially at night but the water was too cold to get in. We were a childless couple but I can see how this place is fun with kids. The staff was lovely. My only critique on the room was that the bathroom had no fan, the sink didn't drain and the lighting is harsh and terrible. We booked this because hotels.com said "ocean view" and that a voucher for 2 breakfasts was included. Both were untrue.
