Room did not have a remote control for 1st 2 days of reservation so i had no tv access. Noone was able to assist.. i emailed property manager Erica and never got a response. No compensation or service recovery was given

Check in was at 3 but no one was there to check is in for 15 minutes. No front staff on duty until 3:15. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room we were assigned which forced us to complain and get a new room. In the end we had a nice room. and we were taking care of but not without some patience and effort.

Our stay was a pleasure! As long as you are aware of a few details (which make up a majority of the complaints in reviews) such as the need to use the front desk next door and ask for your car in advance of when you want it, if using valet, then you should have a good experience. They provide beach towels too!

When we get to the hotel the front desk girl says there is no housekeeping at the hotel and if we need towel to come to the front desk. We go to our room and look it over before we can relax. In the tub there is hair, only 2 towels a smell of old folks home. So we go back to the front desk to advise them of the issues and she says that she will tell housekeeping...... so 3 people from "housekeeping" come 2 ladies and a guy. The 2 ladies come in, go to the bathroom and look in the tub then comes back and says theres no hair in the tub, maybe yall seen a crack or something..... like a crack would be better. So we go look and the hair is gone and nothing that even looks like a crack in the tub. I tell them look i know when i see hair in a tub and you said maybe a crack so show me a crack where i couldve confused for hair?.... they just kept saying that they disnt see any hair, but really they just didnt want to clean the tub so they just pulled the hair out the tub. So we asked if they can provide bleach and scrubbers and we will clean the tub. Thats when they get mad and said they will do it. We hear them go next door and start slamming doors. Then they come back with some spray and go into the bathroom then comes out. We didnt hear them run no water at all, then they just leave. So we ended up washing our own tub out by going to the store and grabbing spray and scrubs before we could shower after traveling for hours.

Location was great. Only one block from the beach. The streets were busy but our hotel room was quite and relaxing. I like the little alley courtyard. Hotel staff was understaff but they did a great job on helping us in our needs.

The hotel is great no noise, staff and guest are very kind and helpful. Everything was as I expected. I’ll be staying here again for sure!!!! The only downer is that the floor in the room could’ve been swept & mopped prior to our arrival. I walked around with flip flops on because there was a lot of dust and fluff and hairs on the floor. Other than that it’s a great stay.

Fantastic place to stay in south beach. This is very much a boutique hotel with crazy cool architecture and “feel”. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are nice. Couple of things; first, when they say give them 30-40 minutes for the valet, they mean it. Valet service is provided by an offsite company and it takes a bit to get your car. Second, get your beach towel early if you’re going to the beach later in the day (they do run out in the afternoon). Third, be aware that the rooms aren’t very well insulated from each other (it’s an older building) so other rooms can hear you (pretty sure my girlfriend and the girl in the next room were having a competition on who could moan the loudest). Great hotel! Will stay again.

My 5 star goes to them because of their flexibility to let me check in early. Overall it's a very nice place to stay, steps away from ocean drive and beach, little old but clean.

me and my wife loved the staff and the property, the staff filled us in on the history of the hotel in reference to Versace, highly recommended to stay and south beach area great experience, setting up another trip already. Impala hotel 👍👍 Torres family 😎

The staff was absolutely helpful and thoughtful that they made the whole experience better.

We stayed at Impala Hotel after getting off of a cruise ship and we were exhausted. We were able to check in early and catch an afternoon nap before enjoying our last night of vacation. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and memorable. They even recommended a coffee shop with amazing Cuban coffee so we could re-energize. The hotel and courtyard are very quaint. I would highly recommend The Impala Hotel!

My third visit to this great boutique hotel in South Beach.

We reached out to the General Manager at the property who confirmed that you reached out to Erica on 1/15 regarding the lack of TV remote, of which she responded with an email response the very next day and had the maintenance crew bring you a remote - due to the issue being fixed and hearing no further issues on your end, no further action related to compensation was deemed necessary. Our stay was a pleasure!
