The set up of the property distance from attractions location was great
A bare minimum hotel that is close to the beach. If you want a pool and room service, then this is not your hotel. It has everything you need to spend a night or two for a very good price. It also has breakfast which is rare among hotels in this area!
Lovely, clean and comfortable. The room and bathroom were excellent, and the price was right. The location in City Center near Lincoln Road Mall and South Beach, and within easy walking distance to Bayshore and Oceanfront is excellent as well. It is on a quiet block, but near thriving neighborhoods. The Orbitz listing didn't mention that parking incurs an additional fee. When we arrived parking was only available in a nearby garage for $40/day. I am not sure what they charge for parking at the hotel, but apparently you can contact Hotel18 when booking to request a parking spot. If you will be taking a car it's worth taking this into consideration, and calling the hotel for more information.
Property was terrible and the rooms were nowhere near as advertised on the website in their photos. Plumping was terrible (cold showers, toilet running issues) and the rooms and building were completely run down.
The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was no phones in the room. They need to upgrade putting telephones in the room Also the breakfast is very funny. U can’t serve orange juice and break and call it a breakfast. Where is the egg, sausage, etc. The overall experience was otherwise good.
Good location. Depending on the room might hear noise at night.
Room was small but very clean and maintained on a daily basis. Water pressure was very low in a shower and it usually took a while to get hot water running. AC has no heating and it was fraking cold in the room when outside temperature was 18-20 degrees Celsius. Stove top could not reach boiling temperatures. Breakfast was wery bad for the fee payed. Hotel location is perfect near to everything. Beach seats with umbrellas are great and are at perfect location near Lincoln rd.
The room is very small and smell is not good. There is no shampoo or soap for the bathroom. The kitchen water is leaking.
Great Location, Close to everything, Friendly Staff, Great plus is that they have beach chairs and umbrella on the beach, two blocks away. Breakfast is ok, nothing special. The rooms are comfortable and clean.

Very close to the beach and food. Amazing staff and the convenience of a kitchenette in the room with plates, bowls, cups, utensils, soap and new sponge included. There's also a mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker and microwave. Rooms are cleaned daily unless you put out DND.
the pictures looked nice and for the price i was expecting something a lot better. The place seemed really beat up. The wall had layers and layers of paint. I didn't even want to take off my shoes in the room. EEK!
The pictures online look a lot better than the real thing. Additionally, the ac was not working properly.
The room was very small. The shower was slick, my friend fell while trying to get out. The one window air unit really did not keep the room very cool.
Staff was beyond excellent and helpful with any questions we had and advice on different activities in the area.
