Decent stay, could be better

It doesn't help that there was a significant hiccup in our check in process. I was provided the code for the door at the front desk. That code did not work and the front desk did not have access to an alternate code. It took a while to contact the host who then tried two more codes before finally arriving at the correct code to open the door. From the time our feet were at the front door to the time we were inside was at least 20 minutes. After a very long time in the car, and following all the directions for the checkin procedure, this was extremely aggravating. Is there a view of the city? Yes. Is it gorgeous? I guess that's subjective. One great thing about the view is there is no high-rise right next door to stare into your window. We specifically chose this unit because it offered free parking. We were a little worried that our F-150 might not fit but we didn't have a problem getting into the garage or finding parking. One other thing of significance for us was that you can hear absolutely everything that goes on outside the room. You can hear people coming and going off the elevator. You can hear every word of every conversation. You can hear doors opening and closing. There's is a large gap at the bottom of the door that allows the sound to travel. We couldn't hear through the walls but we could absolutely hear everything in the hallway. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. I'd consider staying here again.
