I'll begin by saying I loved it. Customer Service was great... from booking the reservation, to housekeeping, and all throughout my stay. The Manager went above and beyond her call of duty by squeezing me in (myself and my newborn) iwith slim to zero availability. She was sweet, efficient, understanding, and flexible. I'll definitely choose this cute and spacious, all-around great hotel whenever I need a hotel room in Miami. The room itself was more like a ritzy Studio Apartment - not your typical one square room. There was a small kitchen, large bedroom, and the bathroom was separated by a nice sized hallway. The room was pretty, clean, fully furnished, and cozy. With great quality in every area and an affordable & fair rate - I am more than satisfied. I definitely would recommend this Hotel whether its business or pleasure and especially for long-term guests. 👌
The Pictures look nice but the reality is, this hotel is under heavy renovation in a not so pleasant neighborhood, no parking except on a public side Street, rooms were less that adequate to sleep in. You cannot enter your room after 10pm without having the front door opened for you. This is more of a spring break get away house for Young Adults / Teens.
The Fortuna is a hidden gem located near Wynwood, Miami Beach, and Bayside. I had a wonderful experience and notice a diverse population among the other guest. The bed is not a queen it's was Full that can fit 2 adults.
My friends and I came to Miami for a concert at the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami. We rented 2 rooms at fortuna house. The location was perfect. Parking was free and easy although we just took a 2 minute Uber ride over there. It was really close. Loved the fortuna house. Some of us needed to cook and found that having the kitchen was really convenient. Rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff was super nice. Can't wait to come back!
We were happy with this place. On the other hand, this looks like someone's cousin was the last guy hired on a construction job building apartments. The tile is not quite right, neither is are the cabinets. However, it was almost totally clean and had the necessities. Staff took care of our issues immediately and were nice folks. There were 2 towels for 3 people, the shampoo and dish soap were about empty and not all the pots were clean. But again, they were taken care of quickly. This was very quiet and the street parking seemed safe. We had no trouble finding parking. Car companies were hanging out at the larger hotels, so there was almost no wait for service. There are families on the street. We were very close to grocery shopping and a whole lot of restaurants. Within walking distance of the Wynwood Walls. An amazing outdoor museum of murals. You can look at murals on other buildings on your walk. We had a queen bed and sofa bed. Everyone slept just fine. There is a large fridge, microwave and oven that work. We would definitely come back.
We decided to move to Miami from Orlando and needed to find an apartment to rent. We stayed at the Fortuna House and extended our stay week to week until we found an apartment. We ended up staying two months and we found the Fortuna house very conveniently located and well equipped. The kitchen was spacious and we really enjoyed having that for our extended stay. Overall- great experience, I will highlight recommend for friends and family coming to visit!
We stayed in the apartment for a week as a second visit. Stayed for a post cruise visit last year and loved it. Pros: loads of space, well equipped (hairdryers, toiletries, microwave, stove, full fridge)- good value for the money. CONS: no pool but the beach is nearby. Other then that this proved to be an excellent base to explore South Beach and the downtown Miami/Wynwood Arts District. We look forward to coming back again next year.
We stayed here on a trip to visit Miami. We couldn't have asked for a better spot! We were in close proximity to a lot of Miami's finest offerings! The accommodations were cute and clean. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. She did Tour us around and give us a room choice. All the rooms were about the same size and very clean so we ended up on the first floor so we didn't have to climb upstairs. We plan on staying at Fortuna House again!
After my last trip which was a disaster I was worried about arriving in Miami and not having a quiet, clean and safe place to stay. I booked Fortuna House for two nights and was quite surprised at how nice this property is.. it is an older building with soooo much character. The studio apartments are bigger than any studio I've seen in Miami. Full kitchen with all the kitchenware you'd need. Cable tv, free internet, laundry on site, free parking, super nice staff. Honestly , I could not ask for more and for the price I'm in love with my new spot to stay over when visit her family and friends again. Definitely recommended . This place is close to everything, wynwood, south beach, downtown and even the airport. I love it.
The apartment / hotel was very pleasant, clean , comfortable, in a nice and quiet location , We had a free parking ( Money saved for sure!!) The rates were also extremely reasonable considering its great location and large rooms. Will defenitely stay here again . You can't beat the location and intimate local Vibe.
