The room was to small, the bathroom was to small and the water leaked out of the shower . Theres no microwave or refrigerator to keep your food in. The point of paying hitel fees is for room service which they never came to clean the rooms you had to ask for them to clean your room. Well if im paying for that service i shouldn't have to ask. We had no windows and was put in the front with all the noise. Had to ask for clean towels and rags . Over all if i could give it a negative star i would. Do not recommend. Oh the beds were very uncomfortable . The staff at front desk wasnt pleasant either.

This hotel was honestly a huge disappointment. The room was nasty and clearly not cleaned properly—I found two dead bugs, the walls were dirty, and the whole place smelled pretty bad as soon as we walked in. It just felt grimy and uncomfortable the entire stay. Thin walls so don’t expect any peace and quiet. You can hear everything going on outside, plus people stomping around upstairs all night. They also charge a so-called “resort fee,” which feels like a scam since you still have to pay extra for basic things like beach umbrellas and chairs. Not exactly what you’d expect from a “resort. swimming pools were gross—especially the rooftop pool, which looked poorly maintained and unclean. Overall, I would not stay here again and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

They were renovating so I will give them some grace on the conditions. The pools are amazing. Easy walk to the beach. The bars and restaurants were fun and delish. The people are the reason to stay here. ❤️

I stayed at Catalina for a mix of work and vacation, and it was perfect. Fast WiFi, comfortable workspace in the room, and plenty of spots to relax after meetings. The beach access made it easy to unwind, and the on-site dining options were excellent. The staff was attentive and efficient, always ready to help. Great balance of fun and comfort!

I traveled solo and felt completely safe and comfortable at Catalina. The location is perfect — walking distance to Ocean Drive but tucked away enough to relax. The rooftop pool was my favorite spot to unwind after the beach. Staff was attentive and always smiling. Great value for the area, and the design has that cool Miami vibe. I’ll definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a fun, energetic atmosphere but still feels relaxed and comfortable. The complimentary beach chairs were a huge plus. The room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. The front desk team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a Miami getaway!

We had the BEST time at Catalina Hotel & Beach Club! The location is unbeatable — just steps from the beach and close to amazing restaurants and nightlife. The rooftop pool was such a vibe, with great music and delicious cocktails. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, modern, and super comfortable. Can’t wait to come back with the girls!

We booked three king-bed rooms, but one was provided with a queen bed instead. The bathrooms did not match the listing photos, and one room was an undisclosed accessibility room with an unusable shower. Water also flooded from the bathroom into the room.
