Convenient for touring Italian Lakes.

Breakfasts more than ample and on site restaurant open to public too for functions. Quality service and amenities. Stayed in August 2014 and September 2016. Planning to go again next year too and have happily recommended it to family and friends already. Rural retreat therefore car preferred. Visited all Italian Lakes and Milan. Plan to visit Verona next time and possibly Venice even.

Super nice hotel for a relaxing stay

Very nice hotel, calm. Everything green (starts with the green power from an old waterwheel and goes on to have bunnies on the grass). Very pleasant stay in the the hotel. Parking very close to the entrance. Ponds and rivlets are very close to the houses. Breakfast with a view ;-)

Great getaway from crowds of tourists

It is a very charming and peaceful place which is off the beaten roads. You can only find it with gps, but a perfect escape from crowded tourist places. It is about 20-30 min from the city of Como and the same from Lecco.

IT IS A MUST GO DESTINATION!

Hotel is way well kept in both buildings (Casa del Mulino and the Corazziere, the latter is an upgrade vs. Casa del Mulino). Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast is pretty good with a large selection of food. The restaurant "IL CORAZZIERE" is a gem. Location is amazing on the Lambro river's shores with a unique example of environmental friendly recovery of an old mill. Definitely a place to go back on a regular basis.

A great location, very relaxing

We arrived at Merone Station with no onward transport, Taxi's are pretty much non-existent in this region in Italy. I phoned the hotel and the receptionist was kind enough to come and pick us up, excellent service, sorry I cannot remember her name! The hotel is in a gorgeous setting, our room was at the back of the older building, doors opened onto the river, the room was a little dark but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is superb, everything you could want, the best coffee machine. Every staff member couldn't do enough for you to make our stay perfect, which it was. The restaurant next door is also superb, very attentive and passionate staff, who know the menu fluently. There are free bikes to use too, which we took full advantage of, the weather was just perfect during our 2 day stay, the most relaxing place we stayed at on our trip, highly recommend.

Die Bilder des Hotels entsprechen leider nicht der RealitĂ€t. Die Doppelzimmer sind klein und die Betten wirken eher wie kleinen Einzelbetten. Ausserdem riecht es stickig, als ob die Zimmer lĂ€nger nicht richtig gelĂŒftet wurden. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt: FĂŒr den Check-in und Check-out muss man ins Hotel gegenĂŒber gehen, was ziemlich unpraktisch ist. Das Restaurant trĂ€gt zwar denselben Namen wie das Hotel, ist jedoch teuer und steht in keinem VerhĂ€ltnis zur gebotenen QualitĂ€t. Insgesamt eher enttĂ€uschend.

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel am Fluss im GrĂŒnen

Sehr schöne Anlage im GrĂŒnen an einem Fluss. Schöne moderne Zimmer in zwei GebĂ€uden verteilt. ParkplĂ€tze auf dem GelĂ€nde. Sehr schöner Pool mit grosser RasenflĂ€che sowie Liegen und Sonnenschirmen. Dazu eine kleine aber feine Poolbar und generell sehr tolles Personal. FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet mit guter Auswahl. Abendessen im angrenzenden schicken Restaurant mit toller Auswahl. Sehr empfehlenswert
