One word: “Wow”! This home is simply breathtaking. During a girls' trip to Merida, this property offered all the amenities we could ask for. The photos don't fully capture its beauty. Upon arrival, you're welcomed by a gorgeous pool and lush greenery surrounding the yard. The house was spotless, with comfortable beds, a SMEG coffee maker, a gas stove, and a washer and dryer. The host stayed in regular contact to ensure everything met our needs and was available around the clock for any issues. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home

The house was absolutely beautiful and really big and comfortable for our party of ten. They provide everything you need. We really enjoyed the location, it’s quiet and close enough to be able to walk around to get to know the neighborhood. The pool is a huge plus as well. Beto was very attentive and friendly, made it very easy to reach out in case we needed anything. We all really enjoyed staying in this house and will consider staying there again on our next trip to Merida.

Absolutely Perfect Stay!

This house was absolutely perfect! It was spotlessly clean, and the hosts truly thought of everything we might need. From the fully equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches like hangers in the closets, clothes hampers, quality soaps and shampoos, and ample storage space, everything was incredibly well-prepared. The king size beds were very comfortable. The layout of the home is ideal for privacy, making it perfect for three families to stay comfortably. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Mérida!

Beautiful Casa Close to the Heart of Merida

We (family of 6 adults) were in Merida for a week and Casa Mariposa was a perfect place to land and rest after adventuring. It is beautiful in its modern simplicity. The pool and A/C were refreshing and a welcome respite. I cannot recommend the property and the team @ Burro Y Flauta more highly. They replenished us with purified water for our entire trip and were immediately responsive to any question we had. Thank you, Alberto and Becca and Team for a wonderful week!

This property was perfect for us.

We came in to town for a wedding so there was a lot of family who wanted to stay together. There. Was me, my husband, my brother, wife and son, and my sister. There were very comfortable beds for all of us. Beto was easy to contact and extremely personable. We had space to cook and to relax. The location was in walking distance to the local places we wanted to see. There is a market nearby. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms as well. I have recommended it to my niece for her trip next summer

Lovely home close to lots of shopping!

We had a great time at Casa Mariposa. The accommodations were clean, stylish and comfortable. My family really enjoyed the pool, that can be accessed from the living room space and one of the bedrooms. The guidebooks available at the house were very useful. We would highly recommend staying here if you visit Mérida.

My family and I had a pleasure of staying at casa mariposa. It’s spacious and accommodated everyone and it was 8 of us. Beto received us and gave us a tour and complimented us with beer in the refrigerator. The neighborhood was calm and quiet and very near el centro. Thank you for everything I hope to be back.

Great location and beautiful house

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. Pool was a bit chilly but refreshing in the heat. Very clean and secure, 5 well appointed rooms. Only unfortunate thing was a neighbor dog that barked incessantly from 4 am-6am. Obviously not the owners fault and can’t control everything when in the middle of the city. Overall a very serene and beautiful place.

Stunning!

We had a group of 10 adults travelling for a wedding. The house is plenty spacious and didn’t feel like we were in each other’s space. They have complementary coffee which was great for us. Would definitely recommend!

Casa Mariposa exceeded our expectations

My four friends from college stayed at Casa Mariposa for 4 nights for a wedding weekend in Merida. Casa Mariposa was the perfect place for us. The property is beautiful with large bedrooms, comfy beds, and big bathrooms. The furnishings were really nice with a high-level of detail in design throughout the property. The property managers were very responsive and quick to reply. The location is perfect for exploring everything Merida has to offer. We highly recommend Casa Mariposa.
