Hotel in dire need of remodeling. Most of room lights didn't work, toilet, walls, bathroom, all were stained and either needed replacing or repainting. Must have been a service room near us as each door slam could be heard, and there were two noisy "dings" periodically for some reason. Did not feel safe, and everything being dimly lit didn't help.
Nobody booking at the Travelodge is expecting a 5 star experience— just a clean, safe, basic rooms with no frills. Despite the inevitable response from someone at the property (which might give the impression of responsiveness and thus good customer service), trust me when I say there is nothing positive to be said about the condition of the property or rooms other than the price and the proximity to the airport. I booked 5 non-smoking rooms— while there may be signs everywhere that say no smoking, either these policies are not enforced or the carpets and drapes have never changed— it’s impossible to not smell cigarettes walking to your room or in some cases in rooms. I had to change 3 rooms because of the horrible air quality; a 4th was bad but the guest came from a family of smokers so did not mind. The ceiling in the bathrooms showed water damage and paint chipping; the bathtubs were dingy/stained from what looked like decades of use, toilet seat was cracked. Beds were very soft which might be desirable for some but hard for anyone with back issues. Walking to the rooms we passed a foul smelling (as in rotten food) are right near the vending machines. It is a very old property and it shows every bit of years of wear and tear. It would be fine for a quick overnight 5 mins for the airport if the air quality weren’t so bad (especially for children) and if the run down state of things didn’t instantly make one wonder if there are bed bugs there. I can only pray. Stay away.
Heard next rooms water running most of the night
My Lamp was broken. The tub is nasty and black as if it hasn’t been clean. The floor in the bathroom has hair on the floor from previous guests. The lady at the front desk was so rude.
The employees was professional and polite especially to my mom.
This place went from being just okay to terrible. Beware they do illegal room checks and call them "welfare checks".The manager has no respect for customers he is very unprofessional. I would hear him talking about the customers everytime I came in and out the building. BEWARE they recently turned it into a homeless shelter to make extra money there was an incident within 24 hours of them mixing homeless with the general population. They have no certification or qualificationd to be doing this clearly money is valued customers safety.
I thought the property was great. Great amenities, very clean throughout. I was pleasantly impressed when I walked in the building.
It was so scetchy. As I was unloading my things from my vehicle someone was watching from the windows above. Standing in the window. All the shades of the windows were dirty and matted. It was a gated parking lot. I didn’t feel safe so I didn’t stay. I left hand paid more to get Holiday Inn. It was a huge upgrade and I felt daft and clean.
I could do a cartwheel in my room. Everything functioned from the toilet to the TV. The Wi-Fi was the strongest I have ever had in a hotel. The property was safe. The walls are thin.
The property was close to the interstate which enabled me to better complete my business.
I didn't like anything about the property. A lot of thing were in disrepair.
Security was good vending machines had good selection of snacks/food/drinks. Vending machines even had nail clippers and Tylenol and chapstick etc.
The bar wasn’t open at all. That’s the reason I booked the hotel. Breakfast wasn’t what we expected either, just ended up checking out and going to eat breakfast.
