Hotel is nice, the the rooms are great and very clean. However do not valet your car. I had problems from the time I got there until the time I left getting my car from valet. They were very unorganized even though there was barely anyone staying in the hotel (in was Christmas). But outside of that, great place to stay.

beautifully hotel, little more cleaning on headboards and outside baseboard of showers,,,pet pea of mine sine i stay and train in them a lot. Otherwise this would have been perfect.

Nice hotel. Nicely decorated and clean room. Comfortable bed.

The hotel is close to great restaurants and the staff was always very friendly. Clean room with a wonderful view. Not a fan of the hotel restaurant considering how many other choices within walking distance. I will certainly be back to this hotel on my next visit.

The staff was so nice and checking in was a breeze. Chocolate chip cookies, too!

Convenient location, cool modern design, and friendly staff.

Perfect! Clean and great staff..........................

great location and very friendly staff. would recommend to others

Staff was outstanding. Very welcoming and went out of the way to make sure our needs were met. Location was great and within walking distance of many points of interest in downtown Memphis. The room was nice; however. the room was very warm. We tried to adjust the thermostat, but it did not cool down the room. We were unable to sleep due to the room temperature.

Parked in the poorly labeled adjacent garage when I arrived Friday afternoon. Turns out the buried phrase "closes weeknights at 8" that was on their sign, means NOT OPEN ON WEEKENDS. Tried calling the posted number at the garage, but it just rang the empty booth I was staring at inside the locked gates. Long story short, when I approached the hotel staff for help, thinking surely someone else must have made this mistake before, I received zero help, was chided for not paying for the valet service, then was told "aren't you glad I helped you how to get your car out of there" after I finally asked a (very nice) monthly parker if they could trigger the exit gate for me. I even received flack when I suggested that they make sure they tell incoming weekend guests that the next door garage will close until Monday morning. They should also probably hire an interior decorator at some point to address some details in the rooms. In our room, there was a wardrobe that was too close to an entry wall, such that a carry on sized rolling suitcase barely made it through the opening. Not a huge deal (kind of comical), but a detail that probably should be addressed. In a nutshell, this hotel is clean, trendy, comfortable (awesome bed), and very well located, as long as you don't run into a problem that you need the staff to help you figure out... or have a large heavy suitcase.

The hotel is generally pretty and well kept. It is new so everything still looks great. It is in downtown Memphis which makes the area around it a little less safe than some other hotels but I didn't see this to be anything different than other hotels in the downtown area. I will note the hotel isn't quite ready for business travelers just yet. There are no safes for laptops (anywhere) and the wireless for the hotel currently requires the installation of an SSL/TLS certificate which will prevent some business travelers, and all military, from being able to use the hotel network for Internet access. I should mention that the reason this is a problem is because it allows the hotel to decrypt all of their customer's web traffic (I'm not saying that they do this) and view anything that would otherwise use SSL/TLS. In some countries, this is done to collect "marketing information" about the customer's interests by processing everything they do on-line. Creepy to say the least. Aside from those two issues which may be resolved at a later date I liked it a lot.

I found this hotel on Orbitz, showing a higher rating and cheaper rooms than many of the other hotels I considered, was a very unique and elegant hotel, and it will definitely be at the top of my list on my next visit!

The hotel, staff, and location all get an A+. There is awesome valet parking, but finding your own parking was very difficult. Very much enjoyed my stay and if I ever visit Memphis I am sure I will stay with the Hotel Napoleon!

Good hotel, very clean. The front staff seemed a little overwhelmed. But overall we'd stay again! Great area.

Stayed for a nice weekend getaway. Easy check in and couldn't ask for a better location. It's an easy walk to most of the attractions in downtown.

Hotel Napoleon is a beautiful hotel within walking distance from Beale St. The hotel staff was great, making sure that we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. This quaint boutique hotel has been modernly renovated, but still keeping much of his old historical charm. You will see original brick in some of the rooms, original marble in the foyer, etc. I will definitely plan on staying here when I come back to Memphis!!
