I loved the property, there was nothing that I disliked

My experience at this hotel was just great! This was not my first time staying at this hotel. Upon my arrival at the hotel the front desk clerk was so friendly. The room was very clean and so spacious. The hotel was also very quiet for it to have been a holiday. I only ran into one problem and that was housekeeping knocking on the door early that morning but my overall stay was very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

I am a firm believer that a bad hotel will ruin your trip! We visit Memphis every year for the Southern Heritage Classic football game. This was the 1st year we chose to stay at Homewood Suites because we wanted to get away from the noise, crowds, & dangerous "swirving" (thugs driving intentionally swirving into oncoming traffic) of Union Street. The suite was large, clean, & comfortable. I am a firm believer in a CLEAN hotel. Bed was comfortable to me but my husband said the pillows were too large. Right off the highway & quiet. The staff was average. Nothing more! We were on the 2nd floor and I didn't like how I could hear those above us on the 3rd floor. Seemed as if we were in an apartment. The bathroom was large and clean. The toilet and tub were separate from a large walk thru sink & closet area. The fridge and cooking range were CLEAN! The air conditioning unit was in a locked closet in the bathroom and it was rather loud. We had to close the bathroom door to shut out the noise from the unit. Oh, someone tried to steal my car the last morning we were there. The manager didn't seem to be too concerned. Thankfully my car alarm scared them off. We parked the car directly in front of our room. When I heard the alarm and looked out the window, no one was in sight. We asked the manager was there security on the grounds, he said yes but the guy had left 10 minutes before my car alarm went off. Broke my car door handle. Other than that, the hotel was nice for me. I believe in staying in a nice hotel but I would also like to know that my vehicle is safe. Looks like we will be going back to the Double Tree next year as we always have. Or, we will stay in Southaven(great POLICE) which is 15 minutes away and SAFE! That way we know we WILL have a ride back home. Oh, we missed breakfast after being awaken by my car alarm so I'm not sure what the food taste like. Nice pool. Very nice mall about 15 minutes away, plenty of shopping & resturants..Applebees was wonderful! 15 minutes from Liberty football stadium (when there is no traffic)

We have stayed at this hotel before and have enjoyed it both times and will probably stay there again in the future.

Considered staying extra night because one receptionist quoted one price, but another quoted much higher. Small bath and had trouble getting towels.

The Homewood Suites was a very enjoyable stay for my wife and I. The room was very spacious and gave us a homely feeling. I thought the fireplace was very romantic even though we didnt us it.

These suites are a home away from home, extremely comfortable and well kept. The full size refrigerator, microwave, and stove made me wish we were staying longer. Small things like microwave popcorm in addition to coffee were extra touches that made you appreciate your stay even more. The hotel is beautifully landscaped and the personnel were exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful. The hot breakfast buffet was excellent. I will definitely stay here when I return and will recommend to all my friends.
