For this to be a DoubleTree I was disappointed. One of the reasons we chose the room was due to the remarks of the clean rooms. They were mediocre. The bathrooms are very outdated but we were able to shower. I had to request fresh towels from the front because the ones in the room were dirty. Good location. Valet was good. Staff was very amazing!! Just wish it was more updated and the details were tended to better.

The location was great. The staff was great and the valet was speedy. The room was clean and comfortable but the drapes could be cleaned or updated and bathroom could use updating. No coffee pot or small fridge. Overall average but could be a lot better.

The hotel is convenient and within walking distance of Fed Ex Forum and Beale Street. Checkin was smooth and lobby is gorgeous. The bathrooms are dated and need to be remodeled. The tub was cracked and the toilet was so tiny it had to be made for a little person. The window needed to be cleaned because it was filthy. Other than that, the bed was comfortable

Small valet area was impossible to access—had to park in a lot a few blocks away. Valet I made contact with was very nice and helpful (tall young gentleman sporting dreads) checkin smooth, room nice. They accommodated my request for a corner room. Food not very good, service very slow. When I returned in the evening had a nice cocktail— great service from barkeep. This morning people spilled out of the dining room waiting for a seat…figured that being the case, I was due for another lengthy wait, so I went to breakfast at the Peabody…the worst part of the stay was it literally for hours very late (12:30-1am) like there was a drag strip downstairs…so many loud muscle cars laying rubber and racing motors. I know for a fact it’s an issue for the area based on internet research. I’m shocked the local hotels don’t attempt to get help from law enforcement…free earplugs at a bare minimum.

Would not recommend.
The room was completely outdated and not what was represented in the photos. The room was extremely small and smelled. The street noise was loud and there was faulty equipment that caused our room to have roaring sound all night.
