Very good location close to the major Southern Cross Station, though it may take a minute or two to figure out the best way of walking to/from. $1 credit authorisation held at check-in. The room is unglamorous but practical and comfortable for the essentials (not somewhere to luxuriate and admire the view). It had a king bed, which was two singles together but comfortable, plus a separate single bed. A desk with two chairs, an empty fridge (no mini-bar), microwave, safe. No balcony and the curtains didn't close completely in the top corner but that wasn't a major concern. Internal connecting doors to the adjacent room, but fortunately the next room was unoccupied (otherwise that always proves to be a huge negative). The only major issue was the shower, which had constantly fluctuating water temperature and was very irritating. Other than that, the room was good, especially with an amazing price through a sale plus an Orbitz promo coupon. It was great to be emailed about the Orbitz VIP (Gold) perks in advance, which were a complimentary bottle of wine (red or white, worth around $10 RRP) and complimentary premium wifi. You have to ask about the perks when checking in as the staff won't necessarily know about them.

Excellent property and location, clean and great staff. Could use a fitness center.

pros: situated very close to etihad stadium, room in level 7, very clean and have everything I need. comfy bed cleaned room and quiet environment. Fantastic water pressure for a hot shower , plenty of space for me to walk around, nothing i can complaint about the room. cons: Staffs not very friendly but they do their job well. I arrived at 1030 pm and the check in process was longer than I expected. Be aware that the breakfast buffet close at 0930 during weekdays and 1000 during weekend. As we were not aware about the breakfast closing time so we actually missed the breakfast and had to find another place for breakfast before starting our day. The breakfast available time was listed on the small piece of voucher paper but we did not read it upon check in as we were exhausted from the trip.

Nice hotel. Great location for train and tram access.

We found this Hotel to be very conveniently situated when we caught the Sky Bus from Melbourne Airport. Also just a short walk to dinner at Docklands. We will stay again.

Good location convenient for railway. close to town centre. quiet location comfy bed good amenities poor wifi allowance only managed to send 3 whats apps on allowance. Spacious accommodation.

Close Southern Cross railway station once you find the elevator in another building. Breakfast and room ok. Not happy Wifi they advertise free Wifi but only 100mb which for many people is nearly useless.

Very good location for anyone arriving or leaving with the airport shuttle (just 5 min. Walk). There is also a free Tram from Docklands into town and around town (10 min. away). A lot of coffee shops and restaurants are closed on Sunday, but at the Southern Cross station are plenty places to eat and the Mall has lots of eating places there as well. It is also a pick up hotel for tours.i

Convenience location, within walking distance to southern cross station, cafes. Room is clean.

liked the hotel, but the location was hard to find

Surprisingly this hotel is very pleasant. For the price (less than $100 per night), this hotel was very clean and convenient to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC).

Hotel was a good value, room was clean, staff were helpful.

Front reception staff eager to help and accommodating request. Better access to carpark would be goo

I was attending a conference at the convention center and this hotel was a 5-10 minute walk which was nice. The front desk employees were great and the rooms were basic. Had strange experiences with the minibar staff entering the room to check on whether things were taken each day. Having a refrigerator was nice for milk for cereal. No free wifi or internet access was a drawback.

This is an excellent hotel with great location for conference attendees. There is pedestrian bridge between hotel and the main train station. Airport gound transport is conveniently located very close to the train station. They charged extra for internet. They do not have gym in the hotel. I had to pay 15 AUD to hotel to go to nearby YMCA. If you directly go to YMCA, they charge 20 dollars. Breakfast was included in my package but I have eaten better breakfast before.

it is very close to convention center and train station. it is convinient to take bus to airport. it is only 10 mins walk to convention center. room cleanliness is good.

The room was comfortable and clean. The elevators were fast. Not a lot of extra amenities. The staff was friendly.

Docklands location is good, but a visitor not familiar with the area might find it tough to get to the Docklands proper, or Southbank proper, as both are a short walk away, no clear directions in the lobby/room, and there isn't much in the immediate area. Hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. Even though there were two of us in our room, we would need to call for the second washcloth and hand towel every day of our stay. You could get ice in a bowl by calling the front desk, but once our order was forgotten. Very helpful on return arrangements. (trip w/in a trip store baggage) It was noted that there wasn't a Gideon's Bible in the room.

Good breakfast, 1 block walk to Southern Cross Station: Long dictance trains, suburban trains, trams, and buses makes for little need of a car ( except great ocean road and phillip island) I had rented a car for 5 days, but could have gotten by with 2 days.
