Pros: Comfortable room, good facilities eg washer-drier very quiet so I could use it overnight. Staff on the front desk always very friendly and helpful, whatever time of day or night it was. Excellent location for the trams and for the street market and I could walk most places in the CBD if I felt like it. Cons: The roadworks outside made it difficult to get an Uber when needed and I went for breakfast at their own restaurant as advertised at the desk and in the room ONCE... Very disappointing to arrive early and find the hot food already cold. Go somewhere else for breakfast. But for a room in Melbourne CBD I thoroughly recommend Jazz Corner.

We couldn’t have chosen a better location for our stay in Melbourne. The accommodation itself was lovely and just the right size for a couple. The apartment had washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave, so if you wanted to you could dine in every day, but with everything so close you are spoilt for choice for your meals and entertainment. The tram stop was almost outside the hotel and the Metro underground station is opposite. Every member of staff on the trams or stations were very helpful and friendly. You need a MYKI card for travelling around on public transport but they are easily picked up at many places nearby, and topping them up by scan machine all over every station takes seconds. From the hotel you can walk across the road into Flagstaff Park, or take the free tram in a circular tour of all the major tourist attractions in the city, but it’s also nice to walk a few hundred yards to Collins Street and you might think you’re in Oxford Street in London. We heard one police siren in our eight days visit. Grocery store and pharmacy are right next door. Couldn’t be in a better location.

8 nights spent in this hotel. Excellent location, great breakfast, rooms good. Only slight negative for me was the view from the window which was directly into an adjacent office block. If visiting Melbourne again, I would definitely consider this hotel again.

Quite pleased that there was drinking chocolate provided in the kitchen of our room, aside from the usual tea and coffee. Loved also that there was a washing machine in our room. Disliked the part where, when taking the lift to our floor, we had to get off at level 3A, then change to another lift to get to our floor... that was a bit inconvenient.

Hotel is in a great location and was very clean. Their luggage holding service was also secure. It has got a unique layout sharing some spaces with the hotel next door which means you need to change elevators, and the smell of their cleaning product or whatever is sprayed in the hallways is overwhelming. Overall worth it to stay but also worth knowing before you book.

Having the large gardens across the road was great for giving a feeling of space rather than staring straight into another high rise. Tram stop right outside made it easy to get anywhere. It is also easy walking distance to the whole of the central cbd. Some great dining options nearby too.
