Room felt very neglected. May have had a fresh coat of paint. However the furniture was dirty very poor worn out beds. House keeping is the poorest/worst to non at all. 6 day stay not once was this room vacuumed or cleaned down during stay nor was it before my staff. Hair on carpets, Dirty bath tub, coffee station and fridge dirty and dusty. This was my second stay within 14 days and the first stay I gave 3 stars for a leaking toilet in a walk in shower. Really didn’t think it could get any worse but it did. Lobby area breakfast excellent. However where it mattered the room itself this gave a feel of a poor quality motel not even a hotel. Rooms were not comfortable.

Staff were courteous, breakfast was good. Hotel itself was good Modern with Old Heritage infusion.l style and decor. Sadly the rooms and furnishings left the hotel down. Rooms have been freshly renovated however quality of beds and bathrooms needed updating and maintaining. Particular room we had for 2 day stay toilet leaked from waste outlet not nice. Rooms do need a duster run around the coffee station and cupboards Otherwise a good pleasant stay

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious and clean, good quality linen, very comfortable bed. It is older building, but they maintained well. The location is very close to the shopping centre in Elizabeth St (David Jones and Myer), and restaurants at Burke St. Also has trams right in front of the hotel
