We had a two bedroom Apartment with two bathrooms, which was very good for 4 adults. Space was very good. The place near the tram station was very helpful and we could discover the whole city centre. Unfortunately the room service was out of our expectations...
Good location and facilities. Did not use the breakfast option. Facilities in the kitchen adequate for cooking, although very large equipment for 2 people ie the frying pan was huge. Does need a spatula in the utensil drawer. Hot water was quite variable at times, usually in the morning.
A b8t over priced for the room location was good. Room was clean staff were polite howeved i did have to wait over an hour for my room to be ready and was very frustrated at that overall experience was average would probably not go with this specifc mantra again though
A very comfortable, spotless room. Well positioned hotel with an easy walk to the city. Friendly and helpful counter staff. A very satisfactory experience. Will use this Mantra when I am next in Melbourne
The bathroom was not cleaned very well, the fridge was not clean and had a broken compartment and one of the chairs on the balcony was broken. However we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the size of our apartment was good.
We stayed here as a family for an athletics competition at Albert Park, it was easy to get to and from Albert Park and a short walk to the tram. Beds were super comfy, however there was a lot of noise from the emergency services on the weekend. I guess thats normal for the city.
A friendly atmosphere, with spacious ,neat , comfortable amenties. A few mishaps along the way but generally a very nice place! Location is a huge plus with transport a short stroll away. Cafe not open on weekend during my stay so cant comment. Bar only open in evenings with early closing time, so a little dissappointed ! Overall my stay was very good & recomend Mantra on the Park as value for money !
Stayed with my family. Good sized room for the young kids. However pillows were so big all three adults slept poorly and woke with neck pain. Advised reception of problem. Was told to look in wardrobe for smaller pillows. On looking in wardrobe, it was empty! Went back and told reception and asked for three smaller pillows. Was told they would be brought to the room. Only two pillows were provided. Couldn’t be bothered asking a third time
Sauna, pool and gym are great facilities and inclusions in stay prices. Coffee shop for breakfast and wine bar for snacks and relaxing drink after a busy day, closeby to Reception area and easily accessible. Carparking available Rooms spacious and clean with separate lounge to bedroom. Would stay again as ideal for what we needed!
I see that Mantra on the Park do TripAdvisor in conjunction with patrons. I had a negative experience and its interesting that I did not receive an invitation to write my review. Checkin was good. Room was of higher standard than anticipated. Welcome pack was and personalized messages was a nice touch. Free water, complimentary drink at the bar (worth being a Mantra member). Staff were all delightful and very helpful. 2 bedroom apartment was clean and comfortable. The 2nd bathroom had an awful smell - damp, moldy and very unpleasant (room 1009). I told reception staff and I think an effort was made to mask the smell. It still smelled. It was disappointing that there was no follow up for this. Breakfast was included and it’s at the budget end of buffet breakfasts. I would describe it as adequate and would probably not bother in future. The major issue in this room was with the varying water temperature. This was intermittent. The variance was such that I literally had to jump out of the way of the hot water that suddenly eventuated. My skin was scalded. This occurred shortly before leaving. I alerted the on duty manager immediately who offered first aid or a doctor if needed (I didn’t). If there had been a small child or older person under that water they would’ve suffered burns. Overall it’s a good place to stay with a family if you get a good rate. Beware of the showers and don’t bother with breakfast. So many good cafes nearby
