Our stay at the Adina was excellent. We found the staff to be very helpful and the facilities excellent. The hotel is very near transport and and other Melbourne sights. I would certainly recommend it as a good place to stay.
Excellent facilities. Train noise evident in rooms facing flinders st. staff friendly and helpful. Additional requests had been dealt with prior to our arrival.Clean and well stocked kitchen and bathroom.
Very nice hotel room in an excellent location for both work or leisure - walking distance to restaurants, the Crown Casino and Exhibition Centre. No issues what so ever during stay and staff were all very accommodating.
I was a guest last week in your Flinders Street Hotel in mid May 2017 for over a week. On check in I was told that due to the length of my stay my sheets would be changed mid-week and the apartment would be serviced daily. Fresh towels were provided and the bins emptied, but that was the extent of the service. On Monday night I purchased dinner from a local restaurant and bought it back to my room to eat using a plate, cutlery and a glass which I washed up and left on the drainer to dry. The plates, cutlery and the glass never moved from this location and were still on the drainer when I checked out on Sunday morning. On return from a day out I was confronted with a used face washer, which wasn’t mine, left on my side table next to my bed, which tells me someone was in my room but doing what ?? My bed never tidied or made, and the “display” pillows I put to the right hand side of the bed when I arrived Monday never moved from this location. To test my theory that the room was far from being “serviced”, I left a small piece of plastic on the blanket on my bed in full view, and to my disappointment it was still there when I returned later that night, the bed was still the same as I had left it in the morning and I know there was someone in my room as the towel had been changed and the bin emptied. The windows go do with some double glazing as it was a noisy location, trams and traffic. The only positive was the location, close to Southbank.
Stayed in a one bedroom apartment for two night which was very spacious, clean and quiet. Great front counter service and great location for our conference as well as eateries and transport. 10 minute walk to Degraves street and Centre place and a tram stop right outside.
Very nice place and handy to trams and trains , unit was so huge we got lost in there . We had a self contained with washer and dryer that was very handy . Super sized king bed and air con in both living area and bedroom . Things in the unit including crokery and cutlery was in good clean condition . The staff always said hello even when with other customers . The gym and pool on the15th floor was better than some private gyms I've paid big memberships to , the equipment was A1 and the pool just great to unwind tired muscles. The only downfall was the carpet was threadbare in some places in the hallways of the tenth floor , but I'll asume they will fix that up asap.
Modern, spacious, well kept. Excellent service, close to everything. Brilliant place to stay. On top of this they found out I'd recently been married and had a bottle of red, Lindt chocolates and a congratulations card waiting for me in my room. Will recommend to all.
No genuine apology after the staff thought she made mistake. Not acceptable to ask guest to come down to see her to approve her mistake. The staff also entered the room without asking permission. She used the key open the door that is very rude and unacceptable.
Was very warm and comfortable, you wouldn't know it was winter outside and the fire was kept burning in the lobby which was lovely. I would defiantly stay there again if I was working again in melbourne
The staff are friendly and efficient. Room was clean and daily cleaning was pleasing. Pool and gym complex very good. The attached restaurant had a good atmosphere. I was disappointed with the lamb hot pot but enjoyed the breakfast. Location near the train station and the Yarra River was very handy. Just a walk across the bridge to South Bank and the Casino.
