Quick getaway

Great location, 5 mins to resort. I took my 3 boys ages 7-14 for a little holiday getaway. We went to the waterpark, Skiing and tubing. The house is in the perfect location to explore all that

Great family friendly cabin

We stayed here with another family of 4 and had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the hot tub was awesome, and it was close to everything. The husbands loved playing NBA Jam arcade game and the kids had a blast playing outside and in. We cooked there 2 out 3 nights, kitchen is small but functional. Grill worked well as did the firepit. Would recommend to others. It had an older cabin feel and is very cozy.

Horrific experience- look somewhere else!

There are other options, look somewhere else that you won't be taken advantage of. There are plenty of options. When we arrived, we immediately let the host know that the A/C was broken and the house was over 84 degrees. They responded slowly and told us that a handyman was on the way. We had travelled over 3 hours and some family members that joined us travelled even further. So, having been told that they were fixing the issue, we obviously stayed. Finally at 11pm, they informed us that know one would come until the next day. When I said that we wanted to just leave and get a refund, they said they would not honor a refund request because we already moved in our stuff. VRBO did NOT support us. We ended up not sleeping there because the heat was inhumane. They still insisted on not refunding. In the morning, we could not book a different place because VRBO wouldn't provide support with this until after 12pm which meant it was too late to book another place. So, basically our entire vacation was destroyed. We were stranded in a far away place with no recourse. The communication was terrible and the service was horrible. At first they insisted on not giving a refund until finally VRBO insisted that they have to. Things happen that are beyond control. But their response was a money-grab which was frankly cruel to me and my family.They should have refunded immediately and let us move on. The entire property has been neglected for too long, TBH. There are other places

Relaxing family vacation

Property has a great hot tub, lots of deer and woods, games to play. Best compliment I can give is the kids only wanted to go to the water park one day - they had so much fun just hanging around here. House has a nice retro style, plenty of room, comfortable, classic and clean.

Mountain getaway

House was great for hosting a kids. Lots of activities and amenities for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend the house and Massanutten for a relaxing, fun getaway.
