Our room the inside lock didn't work. Was told no one can get in without the key. OK but yet instill the lock should work. Also the commode leak. When we arrived walked into the bathroom water on the floor. Their fix towels was to fix the next day. It wasn't no comp nothing wanted to give another room which you had to pull hard to close but if you push on it. Guess what it came open. The price is good but the rooms needs to be taken care of much better. The only time we will stay again if all the other hotels are full
The only saving grace of this place was the a/c and fridge were cold and no bedbugs.. It did have roaches and the room was filthy, internet didn't work. Not enough space to time more on how bad it was.
If you are on a tight budget, this works. Its worn around the edges, but clean enough. You get a bit of traffic noise, but not bad. There is a steak house, just across the parking lot, so very handy for nosh and a drink after a long drive. Its not the Ritz, but for around $60 you could do a lot worse.
Checked in at 9:30pm after a long day. Quite, clean, free wifi, A/C is cold, flat screen tv, frig, microwave, less then $60 a night. Works for me and would stay here again, nothing special but it works.
Although the staff was accommodating, the hotel and furniture was old and worn out. The TV was old style; the rooms opened up to the outside. The room was non-smoking but one of the bedspreads had a visible cigarette burn in it. The headboards were obviously from the OLD hotel and were full size while the mattress was queen size. The wallpaper was old and peeling. The ceiling in the bathroom was rotted and falling down. The complimentary shampoo was in a plastic tear open packet; no conditioner etc. The one of 2 chairs in the room was broken. The one trash can in the room was extremely dirty when the lining slid down. There were 2 refrigerators, but only one was working and the other held the microwave. The free breakfast consisted of cereal and individually packaged sweets like you get out of vending machine, and only 2 tables to eat on. They had to call to verify that I had paid for the room through Priceline. When I asked for a receipt, they had the old school 3X5 hand written carbon receipt.
I have stayed here 4 times for a week at a time while on business. It is an older motel but it is continuously getting upgrades. Newer Carpet, Wallpaper and Mattresses. It is probally one of the cleanest motels you can stay in, Bathrooms are spotless and laundry done daily. The rooms are serviced daily, which is not the norm most places on weekly stay rates. The owners are helpful with anything but you need to ask, they can't read your mind. Remember, you are staying at the least expensive motel in McComb and its not a Marriot. People, you are in Mississippi, there is flying bugs and humidity, that does not make it the fault of the establishment.
This place is worse then terrible. Where do I start? I reserved 2 rooms for 2 nights of a 11 day family road trip. The deadbolt was broken from the inside and the manager told me to trust him I would be safe. They had a throw across latch so husband said it might be ok. Then the act unit was full of dead bugs. Yes dead bugs. Manager said they came in when door was open and there was dust an inch thick on the ceiling fans. I have pictures of the filth. I even called them down tonight to change the sheets because of bugs and aim was told to come get the sheets and do it myself. Are you kidding me? If there was an opening at a close motel, I would pack up and leave, but they told me no refunds anyway. Calling health department in the morning.

We reserved a room at the Deerfield Inn in McComb, Mississippi because it was listed as pet friendly. The Deefield Inn does NOT accept pets as advertised. As for the accomodations, the Deerfield Inn is BARELY one step ahead of spending the night sleeping in your car. As a matter of fact, maybe spending the night in your car is the better option.
