We stayed there 3 nights. The first night it took 45 min to register because of an error on their end. The first room I was in the towel rack was about to fall off the wall. The third night we were there I was taking a shower. The water went scalding hot. When I tried to move away I slipped and fell. I injured my left knee, left hip and the right side of my head. I reported this to the desk and they seemed unconcerned. Didn't even ask if I was ok.
I normally don't complain about hotels, I dont expect them to be perfect, but this had so many things wrong, I felt I should share. First, I noticed bathroom floor wet. Looked like possibly coming out of base of toilet. I got towels from the front desk to put on the floor. However, I noticed the carpeting beside the bed on other side of the wall of bathroom was wet as well. So this has been leaking for quite some time. It took forever for the water to get to a good temperature in shower, then the shower head fell off! (more like flew off towards me) I had to screw it back on! The paint/covering in the bathroom on walls and ceiling was peeling, and the towel holder rack was just about to come off of the wall.(made me nervous to sit underneath it) I did kill one bug (water beetle I think) near the bed on the floor. The cable was not clear. I thought, at least there is a breakfast buffet. I was looking forward to that...until we got there. The scrambled eggs were runny, the hash browns were not crispy, and cold (been sitting there a while) The bacon was good. A little over-cooked, but still good. The picture online of breakfast buffet is deceiving. The buffet bar is big, but only about 1/4 of it used. I did tell check out person about the troubles in the room, and my dislike of the breakfast food, they did give me 10% off (about $6.00)
We had to cut our trip short because of weather the hotel would not refund our money for 2 days we paid on line .The front desk could not work computers and manager was not present and they did not call manager to come in and help,so we lost 128 dollars and the hotel was so scary and rundown. Its the only hotel there that took our dog believe me I would have never stayed there. It looks like Norman Bates Motel
Since we had to stay 2 days because of car issues we wished the pet free could if been discounted. Resturant good was delicious. Friendly staff.
Front clerk was very rude. Complimentary breakfast was only complimentary for adults, not my child. Even though I wasn't eating anything, I couldn't give food to my child. Late at night, we had a knock on the door from someone asking for money. Room was disgusting including stained sheets and trash left behind from previous occupant. Will never stay again.
I reserved 2 non smoking rooms. Was given 2 Smoking rooms and had to get changed. Stains on sheets. Burn holes in blankets. Mildew around tub. Breakfast attendant rude and no identification to indicate she was an employee. One room not cleaned and restocked with towels.
I mentioned to the Manager/Owner that I had Roaches in my room and he would not offer me a free night.......I stayed 4 nights. Go figure......not again....This Hotel needs a MakeOver....uRGENT
it is old and that os ovious as soon as you enter the room BUT it does let you have your dog stay with you.
My boyfriend and I had enjoyed our stay at Days Inn McComb. The breakfast was really good. Rooms was nice and great location.
This particular property is barely inhabitable. We stayed due to hurricane Irma because my spouse has a serious lung disease and can't be without power for days on end. We didn't expect to stay in a Wyndham property that was crawling in mold. Out of the 3 rooms we rented, only 1 didn't have mold crawling the ceilings. The bathroom fixtures were missing handles and the second floor walkway has pieces of concrete falling out of the joints.
