Breakfast dining staff were great. Plumbing was terrible in the room. Had to use common restroom down the hall.
The room they gave us was missing some carpet on the floor. Also the A/C was very loud.
Cool and historic, unique features. As with any over 50;year old property, modern amenities I am used to seeing not there.
The food was amazing and I’m from New Orleans so this is a huge compliment. I would never consider staying any other place in McAllen after staying here. I’ll be back for sure.
Casa de Palmas is a beautiful place! This stay wasn't as pleasant as the first time we stayed, but the staff took care of our needs and management took care of us. If you have not stayed here before, you need to. It's a beautiful place. Beds are comfy! Food is amazing!! The staff is friendly! The rooms are beautiful! This place has everything you need. The staff are superb!

The hotel is in amazing shape for being a 100 years old. It is very elegant and luxurious. It has been the best place to stay we have ever been to in the Rio Grande Valley.

We stayed there two nights and the room upon check in was dirty. Cleaning services were not offered on the second night. I have stayed at Casa de Palmas before in the past and this visit was very disappointing and fell short. Also we had loud neighbors and the second night we didn’t get much sleep.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is great, like Mr. Cirilo, my daughter spilled her OJ at breakfast, Mr. Cirilo made extra sure that she knew it was an accident and that it was ok, and gave her another one (I know you will say that is his job, but my daughter kept saying im sorry and he reasured her it was ok and he was happy to clean the accident.) not every hotel has these type of employees, the ones that make sure to go above and beyond to make us feel at home.
Property was nice. Check in front desk lady was very nice and polite. No coffee cups in the room. Called front desk next morning for some coffee cups at 7am, called again at 7:30am, They showed up at 8:15 with coffee cups when we were getting ready to leave. Complained while checking out front desk guy just shrugged and said house keeping should have left some. No apology or concern. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE :-(
