Staff very helpful - provided early breakfast for athletes due to early start of triathlon Hotel facilities were excellent although car park is quite ‘tight’ for parking large cars - although on- street parking is available Room was very clean and spacious with a lovely view Staff were polite and helpful during our 2 night stay.

I always welcome an opportunity to visit Westport but unfortunately this time it was to attend a funeral. We needed to stay one night and found the Westport Coast Hotel on Trip Advisor. Their best price was E102 but my sister called the hotel and got a piece of E79 (per single room) which was excellent value. (Trip Advisor - How come the difference?) The room has everything I needed (including a fan which let’s face it isn’t usually needed in the West of Ireland but it was a particularly humid evening). The bathroom was finished to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. We sat out on the terrace that evening for a meal and while it was very pleasant watching the sun set over Clew Bay, the service was indifferent. The staff appeared rushed. We asked for mashed potato instead of chips with one dish but got the latter. We also asked for a white wine cooler and were promised it would be taken out of the store room (why?) but it never arrived. Overall the food was OK. Not a perfect visit but still very good value.

This beautiful, comfortable hotel was the setting for a family get-together. Comfortable beds helped rest and the patient attention from a caring staff meant we were never rushed as we shared memories. Gina even remembered me by name from a stay many months ago. The spa area is small but with all amenities. I had need of a band aid, and not only did Hannah produce it effortlessly but she met me the following day and asked me how I was. My cousins came from Cork and said they will return. Food from the chef, Paul Moran, was praised by all.

I slept like a baby because this B & B is ultra quiet. The property is about a mile from down town . If you crave the bar scene you can walk and take a cab back.. (There are loads of cabs.) The place was very clean. The hot water & water pressure was excellent and the breakfast was really great. Very nice hosts. I would definitely recommend the place.

Had a splendid stay at Westport Coast hotel on Clew Bay. Prefer staying by the water over being in the middle of town. Each evening we strolled in a different direction and could enjoy either a coastal view and the sunset or a walk thru the neighbouring path thru the woods. One evening such a walk lead us to music and an open beer garden, such fun. There are a few shops and restaurants in the same block if you dont wish to take the very steep hill into the town centre. The staff at Westport were very accommodating and the chef made my requested breakfast to perfection. The lobby is very tastefully decorated and I had no complaints about the room.

This hotel is ideally situated on the bay in a perfect location. It is approx 20 min into Westport town centre, but we are glad we didn't stay in the town centre as this is a much nicer place to actually stay in. There are a couple of great pubs and restaurant's very close by. Fantastc views and especially perfect for watching the sun go down. We could actually see this from our bed! The hotel has a spa, and we used the swimming pool once during our stay and would have had treatments but we found they were very expensive. Its a beautiful spa but unfortunately the prices are too high and is empty most of the time. I did email the hotel before we went to ask if there were any offers for residents but got no reply. The hotel is very nice and the food is fantastic. The restaurant staff are extremely good and very friendly, although we found the reception staff are not quite so. Tea making facilities are available in the room but thought it should have had a fridge for a 4 star luxury hotel. Private parking at the back is also available. We would love to return to this hotel some time soon.

Stayed here 2 nights with a tour group. There is not much in town to see. It is nice to walk around the harbour area and there are good shops along the way. Food and room was good. Matt Malone good pub in town

Very disappointed as I heard a lot of good things. The staff seem to be understaffed and extras for the room were not in the room, we had to specifically ask for them. Breakfast was lovely, dinner wasn't great. Would not recommend.

We have just returned from a two night stay in the westport coast hotel with friends . Great value for money . Very high quality food standards , Breakfast was delicious. Evening meal had great variety of choice and was equally superb . Staff were pleasant and attentive . Swam each morning in the lovely indoor pool . Overall great location great food and lovely hotel . The weather spectacular . A nod to the towers bar and restaurant across the road . We could have been abroad . The music each evening in the garden was great . We will be returning to this lovely location .

The staff were great and so friendly and attentive. We had our elderly mother with us and she loved it too. The spa facilities were so welcoming and could not do enough for you. Food was great and I will definitely be back. Great location and so fell back in love with the west of Ireland. Thank you for a great stay.
