The experience was fantastic, the staff are great, always so helpful and friendly and the food is lovely, such a pleasant atmosphere, and the service very quick. The restaurant bar and the lobby are very clean and bright

We weren't sure whether to book a hotel in town, as this place was a good 25min walk from town. But in the end, we were glad to be at the quay location, as it felt more relaxing than town. We purchased a 3 night room with breakfast and dinner package (junior suite), and as we had booked directly with the hotel for a midweek stay, we were offered an upgrade to a master suite for only a few extra euro (done via email before we arrived). So glad we upgraded, as we got a lovely corner room with sea views and a view of Croagh Patrick from the rear balcony. Service was friendly, food at dinner was excellent(separate food review). Would highly recommend this hotel if visiting Westport. There is a nice walking track into town, not far from the hotel, which starts near some houses, behind the hotel. Lots of free parking for the car in front of the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for five nights. Friendly staff, delicious food, very clean throughout. Safe parking at rear which was great as we were transporting our bicycles on the car. The spa area is spotless, quiet and very enjoyable. The western greenway is accessible through the grounds of Westport House, entrance very close to hotel. The views from the 4th floor restaurant are spectacular. A shuttle bus was provided to take people to town. A lovely hotel in a beautiful location.

Westport Coast Hotel is beautiful. My big sister & her boyfriend are staying there & they are having an amazing time there . Perfect Location overlooking the Clew Bay . The Hotel is lovely. The staff are nice

Was very impressed with this hotel. Room was spacious, clean, a gorgeous view of the harbour and Croagh Patrick. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and courteous. The swimming pool is a good size, that cater for family times, lifeguard on duty, we were warned it was colder than normal but we didn't mind. The spa was beautiful, clean and had the basics. Very impressed. We went for dinner in the Coast Bar, joined to the hotel. I don't think I've ever been served my food so quickly. Tasty, presented well on the plate and enough! Staff again were super friendly and helpful. We went for breakfast in the morning. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to leave the restaurant and head back to our room. Again I can't praise the staff enough. One particular girl whom I can't remember her name, took our order, and said she'd bring it up to our room. We can't thank her enough for that little bit of extra help that morning, continuing to strive for peace and relaxation in the restaurant and for ourselves. The breakfast was nice, I think even nicer knowing that extra effort was made to keep us happy. The only downfall was we had an adjoining room. For both us, and the guests in the next room, we know neither of us got much sleep that night. But on a whole, a pretty much underestimated, underrated hotel on the outskirts of the town but still close enough for access. To say I'm impressed is an understatement!

Visited this bar on Tuesday 12th Sept. Lovely Hotel quite busy for Mid Week. We did not have food so cannot comment on same. Just had some drinks at the bar. We got chatting to a very pleasant and friendly bar man (Declan I'm nearly sure his name was) He was travelling up to the All Ireland on Sunday so was chatting about the team etc and his knowledge of same. Very nice young man so had to give him a mention.

Staff very good, food excellent (in fact the best we tasted for the whole weekend) the staff in the Reception,Spa,Restaurants and housekeeping were absolutely the best, nothing to much for them, they definitely made our weekend, will be back location amazing with plenty to do, the weather was fine over our weekend stay.

Lovely room overlooking the inlet. Very quaint area away from the downtown area. Very well organized restaurant staff to accommodate the 40 people on our tour. Meals were presented beautifully, were delicious with a variety to choose from. Cold buffet breakfast and you could order any hot items.

Stayed here for just one night this weekend and wish it could have been longer, I could find no fault with this hotel, staff were very helpful and pleasant, the rooms are really clean, comfortable and spacious, the pool was really nice and a good way to relax on a wet afternoon, dinner in bar was delicious with an extensive menu to suit all tastes. Breakfast was excellent in the restaurant overlooking the bay. Would definitely return to this hotel.

The bedroom was absolutely huge with prestine cleanliness and very comfortable the breakfast room was well laid out and the waiters very helpful escorting people to their allocated tables the breakfast itself was cooked to perfection and the buffet had everything anyone would want.I think the one thing that stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff everyone of them couldnt do enough to help you never have I met such nice people.
