Large, sprawling property with plenty of space to lounge and chairs to lay out. Great, almost private beach. Nice 1.5 mile beach walk down Wailea. Highly recommend!
It would have been nice to have a tub and food service on the beach.
The staff was amazing the moment we checked in. The property had many things to do and the grounds were beautiful. We would definitely stay there again!
Did not stay here. This so called hotel, which it"s not!, is a run down, shabbily kept apt complex with no staff present. Looked around for several minutes. Could not find anyone! Immediately called to cancel and went elsewhere. Orbitz person we spoke to refused to refund the charges! Also spoke ...
If there is one destination perfect for traveling to with your four-legged friend, it has to be Maui, Hawaii. With its abundance of white beaches, waterfalls, and waves, what is there not to love?
That being said, Maui is much more than just sandy beaches and palm trees. It is a land of water and fire. Puu Kukui, the 5,788-foot interior of the West Maui Mountains, also known as Mauna Kahalawai, is one of Earth's wettest spots. An annual rainfall of 400 inches has sculpted the land into deep gorges and steep ridges. On the opposite side of the island, however, the lava fields at Ahihi-Kinau rarely see a rain drop. Then, there also is a desert-like landscape to be found. Here, you can spot paniolo (cowboys) herd their cattle. For really lush tropical spots, head to the east side.
As can be imagined, the island is perfect for letting your dog explore every inch of the natural wonders there are. This is particularly perfect for a morning stroll. For example, the Kapalua Coastal Trail offers you 1.75-mile of beaches. Once you have seen them all, it is not hard to imagine why each of them has been voted as the #1 beach in America throughout the years. Take your rental car to Kapalua Bay and then direct your steps north towards D.T. Fleming Beach Park. Along the way, you will experience the hidden Oneloa Beach. To see turtles, take the trail to Hawea Point. For snorkeling adventures, swimming, and cliff-jumping , opt for Namalu Bay.
