The staff attitiude can definitely use an upgrade, definitely no aloha there. The hotel on the other hand is amazing! Not a lot of vegetarian options unless you eat fish which I don’t.

Beautiful property, but layout of the facilities and food options before 5pm are limited. Only one outdoor restroom all the way down on lowest level, no swim up bar, adult only pool is in shade for most of day. Lovely rooms and very nice staff, but would not return.

It would have been nice to have a tub and food service on the beach.

Awesome experience, best hotel in Maui! Best for couples and anniversaries, you get a lot for the resort fees.

My wife & I stayed 3 nites. Great ocean views from our room. Bathroom layout was odd, the shower surround was on 2 walls only & water went all over. Breakfast food was very good, but dinner was mediocre. Drinks are good but expensive. Hotel staff were all friendly & attentive. There is a 24 hr market on site.

The hotel is not really big which means it’s not so crowded. We like a quieter and more adult-oriented hotel, and this hotel is it. Don’t get me wrong...there are kids around and the ground level pool is perfect for them. So this hotel is also okay if you’re travelling with your family. The attention to small details puts this hotel above others. You get what you’re paying for: daily snacks in the room, water bottles, beach sac, mochi ice cream by the pool served twice a day, and many more. The rooms are spacious. The staffs are so friendly and attentive. Everything in this hotel is clean and arranged neatly...I’m a little OCD and I was pleased. The restaurants are pricey but the quality of food is excellent. There’s live music from 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM everyday at the restaurant by the top infinity pool. You can also hear the music at Ka’ana Kitchen restaurant and your rooms (if facing the infinity pools). The breakfast buffet cost $49 per person but holy cow...they’re good and unique. This was our 2nd stay in this hotel and we’re definitely planning on staying here again the next time we’re in Maui.

We got an ocean view room but our room was kind of partial ocean view room, that was the least problem. There was a music band every evening from 6 to 10 pm that with closed windows we could totally hear it. In addition, there was a loud music playing all night in the resort that we could hear in our room, one night I had to call 2 am to lobby to turn it down even we complained following day but it kept going on for the following nights, our bathroom stinks and beds were noisy! The design and view of the hotel is really nice though!

Nice and relaxing. Whatever was requested was done beautifully by the staff.

Wonderful place for family. Perfect beach location.

Beach staff who organize booking especially old man wearing glasses were terrible. During check out, leave me alone to stay there for minutes until someone shows up that I get any help from someone. Terrible staffs!!! I would rather stay at four seasons not Andaz if I ever visit to Maui again. Thanks for the great experience at Andaz not to go there again :)

The hotel has a great beach , perfect for swimming or snorkeling , and it's easy to get in and out of .. overall the Andaz was very relaxing . I would recommend for couples . They have shuttle's that will take you anywhere in Wailea a big plus !

We stayed 10 days with family the hotel had everything we expected. We had a great time .

Discerning millennials - here is your Hawaii resort! The Andaz is absolutely perfect for couples and young families. Tons of honeymooners and babymooners. The service is fantastic, the food is unbelievably good and the resort itself is gorgeous. They've thought of everything that young couples appreciate, from the reusable water bottles, solar powered lighting, culinary delights, delicious cocktails, and many included activities such as canoeing and kayak trips. The chef's table experience at Ka'ana Kitchen was one of the finest dining experiences I've had anywhere. The daily breakfast buffet is beautiful - they even have fresh pressed juices that are popular these days. The infinity pools allow for a gorgeous view of the ocean. The concierge was super helpful and friendly. We booked a zip lining trip and were able to charge it to our room! Easy. Not sure what it's like in the summer, but in May there were not that many children there and made for a very peaceful honeymoon. The beach crew was awesome and we loved our complimentary outrigger canoe trip too. Don't miss the Andaz when you're in Wailea; you won't regret it.

My wife and I enjoyed a loobg weekend getaway. The property was as nice as we remembered from our last stay 3 years ago. This is more of a couples hotel than families. The tiered pool layout makes the property seem less crowded. We were able to get lounge chairs under an unbrella every day and which was critical for us. Overall great stay!

Very nice hotel, upscale and new on the north end of the Wailea beach hotels. Comfortable beds, fairly quiet. Pools and beach are comfortable and well staffed, every pool was an infinity. Hot tub wasn't very bubbly and jets were not very strong- only one hot tub on site. Only way to park a car is by valet for $30/day, which on top of the $40/ day resort fee adds up quickly. Shower itself was great- overhead waterfall-type shower head and handheld shower head were perfect. Found the bathroom to be sort of strange- shutters open and close the shower to the living area, which was odd in itself- but if you share a room with someone who gets up to use the bathroom in the night and they turn on the light, ALL the lights in the bathroom go on, including in the shower- where the light goes through the shutters (even if closed) directly on the bed where you are sleeping. Odd. Also, there are no door handles on any of the doors in the bathroom- especially in the toilet area, just a slit in the wood where you can try to grip the large door and pull it shut. The slit isn't especially large and hard to get your fingers in enough to pull the door firmly shut. Same slit for opening the closet door, it was hard to get the closet closed to keep the automatic light off in the closet.

Nice hotel. Need more menu options for pool bar and Room service? Same menu in both places?

Impressive in every respect - premises, beach, food, beach, spa

Nice but nothing special. The hotel was pretty with good views from certain parts. Nothing spectacular. Not what you'd expect from Maui per se.

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, Maui County prohibits food and beverage service on the beach, so this is a law that we must abide by. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to the resort, and would be happy to provide insight on which rooms have bath tubs available.
