Excellent location. 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with full kitchen & washer & dryer made traveling a lot easier for my family.
Quite hotel and convenience to walk to shop, but don't park inside hotel.
Enjoy my stay every time. Close to all the tourist shops and eateries. Parking is steps away from your room. Not like the big hotels.
My fiance and I stayed at Ania Nalu from August 20th through the 24th. The check in was easy. The room was great and very clean. The area around the hotel was also great because most everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. I would recommend renting a car though if you really want to see some great sites! I would have given this hotel a 5 out of 5 however the extra fees is what really killed the mood. The cleaning fee (135.00 for 4 days) and parking (17.50 a day) I felt were a little ridiculous. Other than that it is a great place to stay.
Great location. Walking distance to the main street and other attractions. Didn't realize I had to pay for parking. Asked for additional coffer at the front desk and was told to call housekeeping. House keeping closed, had to return to the front desk.
Had a great time at this hotel! Far exceeded my expectations!
I love staying here. The pros are that it is very convenient and the location is right there by the popular Front Street. The room we stayed in were amazing and I absolutely loved that the room had a full kitchen. The pools weren't too busy with people and overall I had a great time. I would recommend staying here to any visitors. My only con is that the price was a little much.
Very nice location and hotel. Easy access to the surrounding towns. We will stay there again
Wonderful hotel, a short walk from downtown. If you want to do Maui, this is the place! Beautiful rooms that have been newly updated. We even got an upgrade!
We stayed in a two bedroom two bath unit. Rooms were modern looking and very clean. Grounds were beautifully landscaped. Only a couple of blocks from Front street where all the shops and restaurants are located. Staff was great. I would recommend this hotel to others.
the rooms could have been bigger but great value for being in Hawaii you don't want to be in your room very much anyway a great short walk to down town lahiana
Beautiful Lahaina property, located close to old town action but peaceful to stay. Shopping, dining, oceanfront activities are near enuf to walk to. Caution: neighboring side streets, and the property itself, are not well lit after dark, which can be challenging to older eyes; pack a flashlight & carry it if you'll be out late. Well-equipped in-unit kitchens save $; restaurants tend to be pricy (Aina Nalu itself has no restaurant). Decor is understated, elegant, modern, very upscale Hawaiian but in quiet colors, so it's restful, and everything is sparkling clean. The landscaping is gorgeous and jungle-y, it feels like Jurassic Park. Nature surrounds you at Aina Nalu - be ready to not run over [apparently] feral chickens in the parking lots. Pools: delightful, very tucked away inside what feels like a private hideaway compound (which it is!). Staff: helpful & accommodating. No elevators, tho, & stairways are wood, open, and awkward with heavy bags or in rain. Extra fees for parking & cleaning were a bit of a surprise. Overall, the entire property has the ambience of a classy tropical retreat; just staying here will make you feel special.
We were very disappointed with this place!!! We've stayed at Aina Nalu before in a one bedroom and enjoyed our stay, but somehow this time we were booked into a tiny, dark studio. When I checked my reservation it didn't say studio (but it didn't say one bedroom either.) The staff said that the low price indicated studio, but I just assumed we would be in another one bedroom when I booked it. The room was so depressing, and there was very little walking space. When I asked to move to a one bedroom, a very snippy clerk told me there weren't any available. Also, don't be surprised when you have to pay a nightly parking fee. The location is great, however. You can easily walk to fun restaurants and shops in downtown Lahaina. Make sure you find out if you are getting a one bedroom before you commit to this place!
Hidden fees not listed when I made reservation. $17 a day for parking and $95 cleaning fee that is not optional. On the listing says maid service available if requested for a fee. It's mandatory. Plus they had $110 charge on our card when we checked. Ended up being charged an extra $247 upon check in. Lady at the front desk could only tell us it was for cleaning and parking. Had to call the accounting department to find out what the charges were for.
Enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and the grounds were beautiful. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The bathroom had a nice large shower, large sink area and lots of linens. The beds were comfortable and the living//dining/kitchen area was roomy. Have never stayed in this town and don't know that we would choose someplace away from a beach again. We stayed south of here all week and needed a place for 2 nights. This place was offered at a good price so we booked it. Parking was very limited everywhere. Only paid parking at the resort. The staff said we could park on the street, but parking was very hard to find and most parking was limited to 3 hours! Right in the heart of town so if that is where you want to be I recommend this place. Everything is within walking distance. Pros: Nice sized rooms, very clean, beautiful salt water pool, large hot tub, beautiful grounds, large shower, lots of linens, nice location in town, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Cons: paid parking, away from beach, no views, staff was not very helpful, borderline air conditioning..
This hotel is located in an ideal place where you can access the downtown Lahaina readily. Also a full set of cooking utensils is provided in the kitchen which is very convenient if you want to make your food on your own. I highly recommend it.
Our condo had a nice, large kitchen area and space for our party of five which was wonderful. There were problems like a lot of dust/dirt in the slats of the laundry room door, and well as behind all of the doors in the unit. There were also some strange little bugs running in the kitchen and bathroom areas, even though we kept the unit closed up. Some units have a lanai, which we expected to have as well when we booked, but our unit did not have one. Overall, the condo was basic, mostly decent, but I would not stay there again. The location, however, is just blocks from the downtown Lahaina area, which is excellent if you are looking for activities, shopping and food locations!!
Love this place my 2nd visit and definitely not my last, Perfect location!
We enjoyed our stay at Aina Nalu because the kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were exceptionally nice. Having the kitchen allowed us to make breakfast before exploring the beautiful island of Maui.
We loved the condo style hotel accommodations. It was quiet and the amenities were great. It is within two blocks walking to all the main stores and restaurants in Lahaina.
