My pups and I had a great stay here! It was one of the only pet friendly places available during the sock sale and for a 2 star hotel it was very nice!! I was impressed! We will definitely be back!

Basic is the word. There is not much selection in Osage so I guess it was OK.

Aging hotel in middle of nowhere Iowa. Stay was as expected. Furnishings were updated and overall clean, but building itself is showing it's age. Mildew/mold on the window frames, 1/4 inch of dust on the wiring where bathroom fan used to be (now just a light). Beds were comfortable enough for a full size. Exactly what you would expect for a town of this size. Staff was polite but not overly friendly. Would stay again if my travels brought me to Osage, IA again.

As soon as I walked into my room and pungent odor of mildew hit me in my face. It really was a little nauseating. I went and turned on the air conditioner hoping that it would alleviate the situation. Toilet seat had one broken screw so I had to be careful sitting down and right on the wall next to the toilet was black mold. Terrible condition. I was just stuck in the middle of nowhere in Iowa and needed something affordable which is why I picked this motel..

The check in guy was not friendly and hardly talked to us--didn't tell us anything about the breakfast hours or even welcome us. When getting to our room in the evening, we noticed we didn't have a chair. Called the front desk and he told us he couldn't get one until the next day. Not too happy with that, but made due, sitting on the beds. Called again in the morning and talked with Carol and also saw her in the breakfast room and told her about no chair, and she got one for us right away. Carol was very friendly and helpful.

We had pretty simple needs and the Super 8 in Osage met expectations and represents decent value for the price. The bed was very good, the room was clean, and the location was quiet. We found the breakfast to be adequate -- the coffee was tasty and the waffles were fine. Otherwise the breakfast options were a little limited.

It was a nice place to stay,we were just passing threw.

No one was at the desk for check out on my last day or was there a cont. breakfast the last day of my stay

My experience was good. It was a convenient location to family and the price was right. The room was very confortable.

I reserved a room for a king size bed and received a room with two full size beds which was not very comfortable for 2 people to sleep in. When I mentioned this to the staff they were short with me and stated they had already given the room away (check in was at 3 p.m., I checked in at 3:20). I also received attitude after asking for an iron and ironing board (the rooms do not have one). I also wished to have a later check out time and was presented with attitude again and was told I needed to be out at the scheduled check out. Luckily, after that staff member left we tried again and we were able to check out at 1:30. It's a small town and the only other place to stay is the Staff inn, but if you happen to find yourself staying in osage I think that would be the better choice after my experience.
