Very good experience. Room, king bed, was very clean with plenty of seating for the two of us. Went to take a shower in the morning and the lights went out, but, they had it repaired in just minutes. The breakfast was the usual Choice Hotel fare. What impressed me was the fact that we showed up with ten minutes left and everything was still well stocked and fresh. Well done we will definitely stay again.

This was my 3rd time staying in grinnell, ia for the knoxville nationals. Other 2 we stayed @ country inn cause it was rated #1 on here. However I do not understand why theyre rated #1 So this time we chose to stay at comfort inn because of let downs previously. Comfort is far more newer and updated. Maids definitely cut corners though and need to clean more thoroughly. Anywhere a vacuum didnt easily reach, they didnt move any object to reach that carpet. Built up dust along baseboards. Beds are ok but a little worn. I guess overall its probably a good comfort. Some better some worse out there.

Checked in really late, the desk clerk was very nice and up beat and helpful. Room is average size, did have to move the desk over so we could open the door more on the frig. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue is your can hear the neighbors taking a shower and considering the doors keep slamming shut, the maids don't prop them open while cleaning. Considering we got in at two am, it would have been nice to not hear that while trying to sleeping in.

The foyer is 2 story and I would imagine the noise could be loud in the rooms near that area. The air conditioner did not have an option to run the fan all night to block noise - it was designed to do that but only came on when the temp went up. I like to run it all night

I was very impressed with this Inn. The staff was very friendly, the rooms are big and very nice and very clean. They have outlets and USB ports on the night stands. I will stay here the next time I come by. The only thing is the town rolls up around 8 pm so be sure to eat before that time. Again I would recommend you to stay here.

The location is good for I -80. The front desk staff was great. The young man and I did not get his name, recommended places to eat. He had the cookies and lemonade ready. Overall it was pretty clean but they are missing the cobwebs around the mirrors. The elevator was very noisy and almost sounded like it would not make it. The breakfast staff kept things out.

Very clean hotel. Beds are very comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Free cookies in the lobby when you arrive. Free hot breakfast was good, not a lot of options but good. The pool/spa area is large and clean also the temp of the room and water were good. Easy access to I-80, and several eating places nearby. I go to Grinnell often for meetings and this is where I have been staying, I like it better than the other options in town.

The person at the check-in was courteous, Mr. Verma. The cookies in the evening were also great, soft, fresh, and chewy. Breakfast however was questionable. Everything seemed to be short; ran out of bananas, fruit was either dying or really old, ran out of nuts, etc to put in oatmeal, etc. When I asked the lady who also worked at the front desk for the items, was told there was none. Anyway, other than that, shower soap seemed to smell strange!

The room was clean and comfortable and the desk clerks service was good. But the elevator failed requiring two flights of steps to the third floor. This was a minor but significant problem. The breakfast was adequate but the attendant did not keep the trays full and only delivered eggs on request.

As all the other reviewers have mentioned Shivam was fantastic. I hope the management/owners know what a jewel this guy it. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable with my room and felt right at home here at Comfort Inn and Suites. Yes, I am that impressed that wrote this review before I even checked out. If you happen to be stopping in Grinnell - this is the absolute best place!
