We were only here one night but after arriving after 9pm in the rain, this was such a great hotel. The airport shuttle was fast and so helpful. The bed was very comfortable, room quiet and great breakfast. Didn't hav time to swim in their great pool--at least 25 m I think! Great place for transit.
The room is badly in need of updating and maintenance but the stained, soiled, and buckled carpet throughout the entire room is inexcusable! This was the second room we were assigned after being given one the reeked of smoke!
My flight was cancelled, so Delta put me up in the Pullman for the night while waiting for a new flight out the next day. I was given two meal tickets, one for lunch and one for dinner. The room was pleasant enough, though a bit worn with a very uncomfortable chair at the little desk (I had to put a pillow on the chair so I wouldn't sink through the seat into the wood frame) and the grout in the bathroom was rather nasty but overall the room was fairly clean. The bed and linens were comfortable and the room large enough to easily move around in - always a plus in Europe. There was a mini bar in the room, but it was empty except for one bottle of water...with gas, no still water available. And oddly, the coffee/tea set up was for one person only even though there was a queen bed in the room. Internet was good, but not secure. Check in girl was very pleasant and helpful, but the man at checkout was anything but. When asked if I could change the airport shuttle from 5:30am to 5:00 am, he said no. Just...no. Luckily, the shuttle driver was standing nearby and he came up and said he'd be happy to take me over as no one else was scheduled until 6:00. The lunch coupon given by Delta apparently did not give you any choice - it was a vegetable soup, with or without meat, sitting on a table in the middle of the room. Period. I did ask for bread and was begrudgingly given that. Wait staff for lunch was unpleasant and disorganized. Dinner came and guess what - the same soup was still out, on it's warming plates and that was what the coupon was for. I decided against doing that again and requested that I purchase my own dinner. Dinner staff, unlike lunch staff, was very pleasant and attentive however. Food was so-so. I'd stayed at the Best Western near-by the night before and had a much better over-all experience for a far less price than what the Pullman would have charged.
The hotel way fine Comfortable bed , This hotel breakfast is the most expensive of all accor hotels in the world €26 per person for breakfast is way too expensive.. i regret staying woth this hotel.. The quality of Ibis hotel next door is way luxury than this pullman hotel.. no way to recommend.. very disappointed.
Friendly and accomodating staff, very clean rooms and 24 hour shuttle service to airport. Met all our needs. Good food too! Staff was fluent I several languages and have helpful information about Marseille. Very pleased.
Not up to standard rooms Damaged curtains Stained carpets Door multi coloured paints Wallpaper hanging off wall Black sooty patches on wall Very shabby That was a Superior room It is close to airport and staff helpful But no one was there to take my luggage Food quite good
Have stayed here twice. Rooms are lovely - typical Pullman. Very quiet - you would never believe you were 3 minutes from a busy airport. We upgraded on arrival at a cost of 15 euros. Nice room with great bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable beds and air con which works. We had a view of the sea although only on 1st floor, and could watch the sun go down. There is a fabulous pool, very under-used as most people are only there for 1 night and probably can't be bothered (also the Mistral was in full force which could blow the shell off a tortoise). There are several place to sit outside - garden and terraces. Food is lovely but comes at a cost. This hotel would be 5* but the restaurant lets it down: price of food/drink is extortionate and the restaurant has very little ambiance due to: 1. Air con turned up high - we were perished 2. Tables pretty close together - I don't like listening to other people's conversations when dining! 3.The piped music was DIRE in the extreme - try modern jazz crossed with a bit of rap. You get the picture. We complained but the (sympathetic) waitress said there was nothing that could be done. 4. Why oh why are tables for 2 stuck in the CENTRE of the restaurant while all the tables for FOUR or more are around the periphery? No way of having a cosy dinner for two in this restaurant. However, since the only other option is to walk to the Ibis a little walk away or get the shuttle to the airport you are stuck. Staff is delightful. Each and every one. There is a free shuttle service between hotel and airport. Brilliant! PS. Don't pay your security deposit (250 euros) with a pre-paid currency card. We did and are now having a devil of a job getting our money back. To their credit, the hotel are being really helpful in dealing with this.
Excellents beds, silent rooms, lovely sauna and steam rooms that heat up quickly and great service - even has a bowls pétanque area in the garden which is great fun! Did not take dinner or breakfast but the restaurant had a nice vibe as did the entire hotel free shuttle to the airport was also great
We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service at their Restaurant. Much much nicer/better than what you would expect of an Airport Motel! I had a fantastic steak cooked perfectly It melted in my mouth! And my lady had a prawn risotto with huge perfectly prepared & cooked king prawns. Desert was wonderful too. We highly recommend eating here instead of in the airport!
I stayed Friday and Saturday night in the standard room. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a safe, ironing board and iron, nice big TV, a desk to work on, bathrobes, slippers etc. It was during a heatwave and the temperature of the room was already cool when I arrived which was much appreciated after a long drive. All the facilities are great. I took full advantage of the gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool, and after being in meetings all day, and it was very refreshing. The staff were very professional and helpful at reception and in the restaurant/bar. The dishes are pretty small at the restaurant, but the breakfast is exceptionally good. There's even a gluten free choice in the mornings which is a nice touch. Overall a really nice weekend! Thank you!
