I stayed in this hotel as part of a travel arrangement for the run Marseille-Cassis. Very nice new hotel near the renovated Docks and the new Terrasses du Port, two large luxury shopping centers with good restaurants as well. Only 15 minutes walk to the beautiful Vieux Port, and good public transport around the corner. Nice rooms and facilities, modern styling, good breakfast buffet and very friendly staff made for a great experience at a good price. I will be back!
The hotel is nice, with a modern look. The room was clean. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. There is a small indoor swimming pool and a small gym. The only flaw was the service: on the first morning, they took away the towels, without replacing them; however, this was rectified quickly, once reported at the reception; the morning after, they replaced only one set of towels and I had to report the problem again at the reception.
I was stayed at this hotel for one night. The facility is clean and new. Location was little far from port and old town but there are two big and new shopping mall so easy to have meal or shopping around. The parking space is as quiet difficult to found- because we went there at night, it was kind of panic when we looking for the gate from there. The staff at hotel looks kind when we use - check in and out. The problem come after check out. I missed my jacket at the hotel, and e mailed to them- and had no answer. I asked my friend who live in France to call to the hotel. The staff checked my room number and date- and found it. I was really glad to hear that. The staff asked my card number and address to ship it. But I got no answers after I sent the e mail. And a week later- when my friend call to the hotel check about it, the staff answered- miss it, and can not found it. He also told to her that they are too busy to care about that. I can't believe this can occurred in such big hotel group. I mailed me to ask them to find it again but if they just ignore me like thisI will never use this hotel group again...
I spent 2 nights at this hotel from 28 to 30 September in anticipation to my Cruise leaving from Marseille. The hotel's location is excellent, with 2 great shopping centres at walking distance and a 15 min walk from the old port, where you can take HOHO or the little tourist train to see the sights. There is a convenient swimming pool and sunbathing terrace to cool off after a tiring day outside. The bar in the reception also had delicious and fairly priced snacks and meals and I really appreciated the complementary Rosemary iced tea I was offered after walking abut in the sun. Hoping to be able to book this hotel again in September 2018 for my next cruise but the hotel is so nice that it already show as sold out! I'll monitor until something comes up, lol
The staff is very friendly, they took the time to explain things to us. Lobby area was great just to have a drink there and sit. The mall is walking distance so if you need anything it's just there. The breakfast was great as well. Would stay here again.
The hotel is fairly new so we were a bit wary when booking year. It is located in the docks and not the port which we had thought it was. It is modern inside and the room was lovely and spacious. Some staff struggled to communicate in English and we did not have a great command of French (shame on us) so found that a bit of an issue. The room was great, comfortable bed and good shower. The bathroom is like an 8x6 cell with no towels or toiletries, you have to request them from reception. The pillows are small and thin, I even emailed them beforehand requesting extra pillows. The 'fitness center' is a sweatbox of a room with no AC, towels or water. There is just a treadmill, elliptical trainer, cycle and a multigym. The splash pool is nice and the terrace gives you the best view of the flyover. On arrival, my booking was messed up, but the staff at the time sorted it all out. Safia and co. on the desk were very helpful. One night the room safe had an error and when I was trying to report it, Joana just ignored me and tried to serve another customer ahead of me, who actually had to tell her that I was waiting ahead of him. The breakfast buffet is great, the fresh pain aux chocolat are addictive. The welcome drink is basically an orange juice and weird thing was that one evening the bar staff were serving their friends but when we tried to order some drinks, they told us that the bar was shut. There is nowhere else close by for a lateish drink. There is a rooftop night club across the road that is LOUD, until the small hours. The location is good if you specifically need to be in that area. If I could avoid it, unfortunately I doubt I would stay here again.
Good hotel for one night stay as it is situated near the harbour, not in the center of Marseille. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food in the restaurant is delicious (it's great if you arrive late). The view is on the highway and harbour, but no loud sounds - your sleep is protected by the windows. The staff is very friendly.
Stayed for 4 days. Hotel quite new and as such is immaculate. We had a superior room which had a terrace & whilst it backed onto a very busy road, was still a treat. House keeping outstanding other than a problem with towels; used towels were removed daily but not replaced, however this was quickly resolved by reception. Staff very obliging even letting us check in early, for which we were very grateful. Indoor pool area lovely although there was a pronounced "tide mark" around the pool at water level, adjoining terrace a delight. Area felt safe & appears to be going through a rejuvenation process; two large malls nearby with a thriving cafe culture. Bus/tram hub only a 5 minute walk away. Whilst I'm unlikely to return to Marseille, I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel was really nice and very comfortable but unfortunately we had problem with the towels as the room service was incompetent. We had to go down to the reception to ask during our accommodation there for towels despite our initial complaint from the first night.
