Absolutely loved our stay at Dar 55! 🤍 This is such a beautiful, charming hotel in Marrakech. The staff are truly unbelievable — so warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The rooms are spacious, gorgeous, and incredibly comfortable, and the pool is absolutely beautiful. The food was also incredible, and they made everything so easy by helping arrange taxi transfers and anything else we needed during our stay. Our time at Dar 55 was so relaxing and honestly just perfect from start to finish. It felt like such a special little escape in Marrakech. Do not hesitate — BOOK IT! You will not regret it. ✨

Great stay for my husband's birthday. We had a swim out suite which was nice and fairly private. Enjoyed the snack bar, coffee shop and variety of choices at the buffet. Would definitely return.

I stayed at Zalagh Kasbah Hotel & Spa in Marrakech from June 23–28 for a family wedding. I booked a family room through Hotels.com because it was advertised as accommodating four guests and was priced higher than the standard rooms. However, upon check-in, I was assigned a room with only two twin beds. When I explained the issue, I was told that once the rest of my family arrived, they would move us to the correct room. Unfortunately, the first room was extremely hot because the air conditioning was not working. When I requested a room change, I was initially refused. The manager, who introduced himself as Beni, dismissed my concerns by saying, “This is not England. You’re in Morocco. It’s hot,” even after I explained that I was not from England and that the AC was clearly malfunctioning. After further discussion, I was eventually moved to another room where the air conditioning worked, but there was no hot water and the toilet leaked. Overall, the hotel was poorly maintained, and I found the management to be unprofessional and unwelcoming. Guests were also discouraged from bringing in outside bottled water. Additionally, I noticed the American flag displayed upside down at the hotel entrance. When I politely pointed this out to the manager, his response was, “Do you have a problem?” I chose not to argue and walked away.
